A TV "screen grab" of Arnold Schwarzenegger.....and a question.

Posted on 07/03/2003 7:03:06 PM PDT by hole_n_one

Does anybody happen to know what hardware might have been used to capture the following ultra-high quality pic from tee vee? (I'm assuming it's a t.v. "screen grab" because of the NBC logo at the bottom right)

It can certainly be resized to any diminsion one wants.......

I'm amazed at the quality of that large an image (1920 x 1080) if it's in fact a pic taken from a tv signal.....perhaps it's a result of HDTV technology?

I think the Radeon All-In-Wonder video cards have this capability.

I was looking at the specs on ATI's website and it looks like the 9800 All-In-Wonder has HDTV cpability so that seems like that could've been the hardware that captured this image.

I have one of those and haven't done anything with it!

Just haven't had the time.

Gotta try out some of the things it can do!
