The dange I see is that this will be used to justify feminist objectives. (such as 60% female universtiy population, Ritalin for young boys, etc.)

I knew there had to be a negative flipside to this sudden change of heart. This - like anything - has the potential to be used for tremendous good. It also has the potential for evil. It does, however, raise the question on why it took this long for medicine to "discover" that men and women are different (something most of the rest of us worked out sometime before kindergarden!), and "Ruben Gur, Ph.D., always wanted to do the kind of psychological research that when he found something new, no one could say his grandmother already knew it" - it makes you wonder what planet Mr. Gur's grandmother is from.

Maybe standard issue political correctness changed when we became a "salad bowl society" full of a "stew of cultures" or something.

Anyway, my impression is that - until now - medical research has had its hands tied due to political correctness. Politically Incorrect "sexist" reserach doesn't get funding. So - in effect - political correctness has stood in the way of saving lives, and this to me is both disgusting and unacceptable.
