The above is the perfect response to the accusation that America is losing credibility due to President Bush. Obviously, Bush is restoring the credibility that Clinton squandared.

Whenever someone in my ultra liberal newsroom starts pontificating at me about the war ("Why didn't we try to talk to Uday and Qusay?" etc.), I say, "If journalists were running this we would have surrendered to that sandstorm."

I am getting a lot of mileage out of the whole "this calls for immediate surrender" thing. Thank you Ann Coulter! ;-)
