Well, if you look at how this whole thing is being played in the media, it's pretty obviously nothing more than a marketing campaign.

I noticed that AOL and others were continually running "polls" to find out how "outraged" we were. Now we have Slutney trying to keep it in the polls, and it's on the Cover of the Rolling Stone, and so on.

I give it a year before she does her Playboy spread...

It's kinda interesting, actually.

Same thing with all the "entertainment" shows. Inside Edition, Extra, Entertainment Tonight: All Britney, all the time. She must have signed a long-term recording contract or something. Somebody wants their money. Push, push, push. Now that I've been brainwashed into knowing I must like her, I'll have to go out and buy all her CD's. Not.
