On PBS's Nightly News Report a couple of days ago, they invited Richard Perle, an administration bigwig, and some dipstick woman from a "peace" organization to present their views on Iraq, where each had traveled in the last week.

Perl was so measured and sure of himself and the peace idiot was so rude and shrill, it was very clear who was telling the truth. The peace woman interrupted both the announcer and Perl, literally screeching about the horrid state of affairs in Baghdad, to the extent that the announcer and Perl finally had to pretend she wasn't there and carry on a conversation of their own looking pained, very pained.

There could be no better illustration of how crazed, off-the-wall, and illogical the leftists are than to let them screech as much as they want. I really believe that the American public is fed up with leftist liars and lies. We tune them out, tho the media gives them air time. Bring 'em on.

The guest on Vester was good. An Assyrian priest (for those that didn't see it) who initially felt he should go to the homeland and protect his "people". After he got there he was astounded at the Iraqi's who told him they wanted to be freed, wanted the US to get rid of Saddam etc.

He then told how basically normal life is on the street. Shops open, people having phone conversations without being listened in on for the first time in decades etc.

An audience member told him it was great he had discovered the truth about the Iraqi's and asked him how many of the other major news outlets had contacted him or were clamoring to put out his story. His answer: "The silence is deafening".

I think you are right, that most of Americans except the shrill ones realize the big picture and can determine who's credible and who isn't. I took the time to email my heartfelt thanks to every FOX show for their coverage today of the positive sides of what is going on in Iraq and for showing that it is OK to be proud of the good that America and the coalition have accomplished.
