I think you're practical and I'm a dreamer.

Maybe we're not worlds apart after all.

Hi Feather. We used to have a yearly Renaissance Fair in Wisconsin that was really good for the first few years, then it got real popular and commercialized. Ended up ruining it. :-(

OOOOOOOOOOOOO! Lucky you! A Renaissance Fair!! I've always wanted to go to one of those! One is held not far from Nashville every spring but I always hear about it after the fact. Dang!
It sounds like the one you went to was a blast!!!!

Be sure to mail that new jewelry home.....DON'T pack it! LOL!!

Been 'resting' from battling it out with the machine yesterday.

Ooooh maaaaan! Are you still having problems with your 'puter? Sorry to hear it. I know all to well what a hassle these things can be. LOL! I seem to recall it being said, yeeeeears ago, that computers would make life easier for mankind. Did they ever snooker us, huh? LOL!

Maybe we're not worlds apart after all.

LOL. Me, practical, ha ha ha.

Thinking about it I see where you may be right. Depends on the issue at hand.

So we balance each other out by being dreamers and practical about different things at differing times.

Oh my, we are going to have to spend more time together to figure this out. ;)

Wow radu, there were so many booths there!! So much to buy so little money. LOL

There were several stained glass shops there and some of the work was exceptional, however, the Dragon Flies, were not any where as well done as yours. You did the wire work for the body, while they had a lot of not very pretty glass and clunky leading work.

Your work is better IMHO!!

Lots of leather work, fashions from the Renaissance period, food, (turkey legs) etc. These fairs are so much fun to attend, however, this one covered acres and it was tiring. I had a smoked turkey leg and a bottle of water, $6.00. There were lots of shows going on all the time. I saw a fire eater. He put on a good show, a knife thrower hit the boards, LOL, etc.

The best part was the clothing from Renaissance era. It got pretty warm yesterday so I would not want to be wearing that heavy stuff. Thank goodness some folks enjoy it.

Ode to Monday

Monday comes and goes,
With work and chores and errands,
How I dread it so.

Joystick software issue.
Windows can 'see' and detect the joystick, but it's own software can't see or detect it at all.
And there's nothing that they suggested to try that worked.
