Earth to pro-Putin "freepers".....go to the BBC article....read the last three paragraphs....and then even you guys will be able to understand that Putin's comments were a DIRECT Challenge and potential threat to the United States......
He talks of land-based missiles, he talks of evasion of Strategic Defenses.....catch a clue guys....old enemies die hard....its time to start realizing its not 1992 anymore...Russia is back in the strategic game and we better start acting accordingly....

Russia's nuclear posture statements of today are very similar to NATO's from the 1960-70s, when we thought that the Godless Atheistic Communist Horde would simply overrun Western Europe in a conventional war.

In other words...Russia thinks that they're the weaker player in this scenario.
