No, not really hijacked. So far in the 5th district, we have Ed Powell (lousy campaigner), Ed Broyhill (a jerk), Virginia Foxx (a politico; semi-RINO), Jay Helvey (neuvo-conservative at best), Vernon Robinson (the black Jesse Helms), and Nate Tabor (the young Jesse Helms).

I'm looking for substance. I'm tired of cliches and one-liners. And I want somebody to work to earn a vote that's available right now. Given that this is the premier conservative forum on the web, I believe this to be the time and place for such an effort. ... Though maybe back to the chat room, admittedly.
