Actually, the CBS story has value only it it precipitates a firestorm by the press, demanding answers from Bush. Instead, it has silenced Bush's enemies. Nobody wants to go near this with a ten foot pole--except for Fox and others on the right. CBS is in an embarrassing stonewalling mode--and the other networks know it. As for the DNC--it is praying Rather's producer doesn't nail them as the originators of the fake memos. Meanwhile Bush talks about health care.
You know I have a sneaking suspicion that 1) this latest crap is the work of the DNC - have you noticed how they are skimming around the subject, no matter who is asked about it? 2) these "documents" were produced by some little and young DNC imp, that obviously had no clue about superscript and typewriters in the '70s. 3) We haven't heard a peep from that Heinz-Kerry woman parading as the Kerry wife. I really believe that her money thinks it can silently corrupt the campaign, and maybe even do it with superhero invisible glasses, probably rose colored.
There isn't alot that will change my mind about those people, really!!
