More social engineering, trying to set one group of taxpayers against another. Eliminate the day-care credit, and reduce rates for everyone.

For some reason, I doubt they're pitting one group of tax-payers against another. The day-care credit is eliminated, depending on your income level. Does that pit the low income against the upper income? Or, is it just good policy? Tell me, what do you think of paying for abortions with tax dollars, tax chick?

ProFamily politicians are a rare breed in recent years, too bad most are anti-family. Its a denial of the wonderful inequalities of women and men.

Brownback as no chance after demonstrating his complete mental incompetence on Iraq on Fox News Sunday a week after he announced.

Just because he shamelessly panders to Social Conservatives emotional hot buttons does not make him Presidential material. Quit the opposite in fact.

She's right. The solution is to massively simplify the tax code and eliminate all these special privileges for client groups. It is NO sort of Conservative solution to find new gimmicks and fake give aways to write into the tax code. It's YOUR money, not theirs.

I appreciate your input, MNJohnnie. I wasn't sure I was making sense - in the throes of allergy season, and the brain is fuzzy :-).

In comparison, I'll take Brownback's ignorance on Iraq, over the deliberate intent to force America to lose in Iraq and in the arena of world opinion put forth by the leftists. He does intend to win in Iraq. Personally, I feel they're all politicians and all that entails, but I am seriously concerned about the erosion of a tradition of moral good for culture and society. To promote family, is most fundamental to the survival prosperity of society and to destroy family is to destroy ourselves. I feel, issues like: overturning Roe v Wade; banning the redefinition of marriage into a perverse institution; battling indecency in the media; stopping immoral embryonic stem cell research, can propel Brownback forward possibly resulting in his, admittedly long-shot, nomination in 2008.

Honestly, I tried to like him as a candidate, because he is pro-life ... but aside from that, he seems to have flipped out.
