I had a really nice visit with Jeri Thompson last month in Florida. As Fred was surrounded by media and supporters, Hayden played on the stage while Jeri looked on, so I introduced myself. If you've ever stood on a playground chatting with other parents while the kids played, it was just like that. Very 'normal' family, even sharing how protective Fred is about the children. And we shared a laugh when she was telling about trying to get ready for the event with Hayden 'helping' mom with her makeup. lol

Funniest line of that day, tho, goes to Hayden. She had told them her mommys full name, so they asked if she knew her daddys full name, to which she replied "Yes! It's Fred '08 Thompson!".
