Well, Mark Pryor has an opponent now. The reason he won in the first place was because the character-challenged Tim Hutchinson insisted that he was entitled to be reelected in spite of his scandalous divorce.

Well, call me crazy, but something tells me that Pryor will win going away against an unknown such as Formicola, but that Mike Huckabee would whoop Pryor. Given that Huckabee will not get the GOP nomination, and will not be McCain’s VP nominee (or at least we should hope he isn’t, since we’d probably end up with President Clinton or Obama if McCain doesn’t pick someone who is conservative on both social *and economic* issues as his runningmate), he should seriously consider running for the Senate. I’d definitely support Huckabee in that race.

Who would’ve stepped in if Hutchinson had quit the race?
