The true real differences between the two political Parties!

TOPICS: Parties
KEYWORDS: difference; republican; republicanplatform
What is the Republican Party platform?:

1. We know abortion is wrong both morally and spiritually and it's a crime against nature.

2. We believe if immigrants want to come to our Country they need to do it legally, and not as the democrats propose, in giving amnesty. We know by listening to hillary and obama that if elected the aliens, undocumented workers, or whatever politically correct name the liberals choose to call them, will have access to our Social Security and welfare, forcing the Nation into bankruptcy! These illegal aliens are causing a downward spiral in wages too. Who would a contractor rather hire, a $15 dollar an hour carpenter, or a $6 an hour illegal alien? Meat packing plants used to pay a very high wage, but once again we can look to illegal's working for far less, bringing down the wage base in that area. While American's pay taxes illegal's do not, they work for cash! What about the crime rate in areas they live in. While they're sending their wages back to Mexico, your paying higher property taxes (which illegal's do not own, they rent cheap houses, and in some cases as many as 14 families share the expenses) to hire more police, build more schools and provide governmental services mandated by the states to help these people adjust to American life! Your paying for interpreters in the schools, because Mexican students do not understand English, and there's a pretty good chance they never will. The way they breed, in the not so distant future they will be the largest minority population, larger even than the black population.

3. We do not believe that higher taxes is the cure for a bloated federal bureaucracy.

4. We do not believe that big government programs which give welfare benefits to those which choose to have children out of wedlock will solve their problems. We believe that everyone should lift themselves up by the bootstraps, and pull the wagon instead of riding in it.

5. We know that welfare "splits" the family; because if the Father would choose marry the Mother, they would loose any and all public assistance. We believe the family unit should consist of a Mother and a Father, and "not" by choice, a single Mother.

6. We know that the "liberal" Supreme Court of yesterday mandated that the 10 Commandments be removed from the classroom and other public institutions, and that "God" is not allowed to be taught in school, there has been a complete breakdown of: Values, family, and morality. How can a youth understand morality if their not allowed to be taught in schools? Sure parents can instruct, but if the schools are teaching the antithesis, how can we hold the youth accountable? One of the many important duties of the President is to appoint judges to the various Federal Courts, including the Supreme Court. Both liberal candidates running for president have stated they will ask their appointees if they agree that abortion should remain legal, as well as other questions regarding the law. Judges are supposed to enforce the law-not make it! Keep this in mind when it's time to vote. . . right now the Supreme Courts tilts ever so gently to the right, thanks to President Reagan, and George Bush Senior, which have taken rights from felons and given rights to the innocent.

7. We know that as result of over spending by the democrats on big government programs that our National Security could one day, if not now, be at risk. There's no doubt that radical countries financing our annual budget deficits and huge debt could one day blackmail us. We believe the democrats need to be fiscally responsible, relying only on revenue in the way of taxes and not on borrowing to feed their spending habits and pork-barrel projects. President Bush needs to be held accountable too, as his "Tax Rebate", $150 billion was borrowed from some radical overseas power which does not hold the best interests of our Nation at stake.

8. We know that excessive government control runs businesses out of the country. We know it's a fact that the United States has about the highest taxes on businesses in the world, and to stay competitive have no choice but to move their factories off shore.

9. We know that excessive environmental regulation forces industry to relocate to friendlier nations such as Mexico.

10. We do not believe that queers should have the right to marry which is contrary to nature, neither should they be protected by the Civil Rights laws, nor should they be allowed to adopt.

11. We believe the "Great Society Programs" enacted by democratic liberal Lyndon Johnson have caused a drain not only on the family structure, but on the fiscal wellbeing of the Nation too.

12. We believe as Ronald Reagan, the Father of our party believed, that people are basically good and have the "Right" to be free!

13. We believe as Ronald Reagan did that a strong military is essential to maintaining freedom. We can see that everyday as He and his best friend Margaret Thatcher were completely responsible for winning the cold war, and ending communism as we knew it! And because of him, Russia has become somewhat of a friend instead of an adversary, and there are "NO" nuclear missiles pointed at us from anywhere in the "former" Soviet Union.

14. Ronald Regan believed in the "Golden Rule" and the power of prayer. "God Bless You President Reagan, and you too Nancy"!!!

15. We believe if we are attacked by terrorists we have the right to defend ourselves anywhere in the world.

16. We know if guns are outlawed only the outlaws will have guns.

17. We support school vouchers. We should have the right to send our children to any school we believe is in the best interest of our children. It's easy to see that parochial schools far exceed pubic schools when it comes to educating our children.

18. We believe we should have the choice of either Social Security when we retire, or instead have private pensions; which would be government mandated savings accounts. This would solve 2 distinct problems. Number 1: It would put "you" in control of your future. Number 2: We would gradually wean the government from raiding Social Security trust funds for big government spending, and the program overall would become more solvent. Instead of the government borrowing these funds for free or 1 -2% interest a year, there is reason to believe that your savings could make in excess of 10% a year, which in turn would give you greater financial freedom when retiring. Remember this; by about 2030 if nothing is done, it will take everything the government brings in now in the way of revenues just to pay Social Security retirees.

19. We believe in Downsizing the Federal Bureaucracy by abolishing the: "Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms" (ATF), the "Surgeon General", the "Environmental Protection Agency" (EPA), the "Department of Energy", "Housing and Urban Development" (HUD), "Health and Human Services" (HHS), "Department of Education" (DOE), "Commerce and Labor", de-funding or the abolition of the "National Endowment for the Arts" (NEA), and finally the "Public Broadcasting System" (PBS). Within each of these Bureaucracies are hundreds, even thousands of people, many of them cronies or do nothings. When I last looked at the Constitution there was no mention that the Government should be involved with anything but the common defense of the Nation. And if you will look and see who was responsible for implementing these bloated government services, most if not all were yes, you guessed it, the damn democrats. President Bush is not completely innocent either. He established the "Department of Homeland Security" (DHS). This cabinet department spent millions on a big party in Hawaii after it was established for bloated bureaucrats. These bloated bureaucrats found an outlet to send home the pork! About the only think this agency does that relates to National Security is raising and lowering the threat level. It should be abolished too.

20. We believe it is in the best interest of the citizens of the United States that we immediately rescind our membership, as well as financial and military contributions to the "United Nations". We need to evict all the nations of the world (most of which are unfriendly to our Great Country) from our soil forever!

21. Finally, this is a Christian Nation whether the liberals agree with this or not! The Clergy should have the "right" to free speech whether we agree with them or not. The Clergy should not fear by speaking out against immorality they might lose their tax-exempt status. We reclaim freedom of religious expression in public on government property, and freedom from governmental interference.

We are the Party of: Lincoln, Eisenhower, Bush, Jefferson, Washington, Adams, Teddy Roosevelt, Grant, and most importantly, Ronald Reagan, and we believe in the Republican platform and stand behind it! When you listen to the candidates now running for office, you now know who to put your trust in.

The most important item we need to ask at the next election is who are your going to vote for. There's no doubt the 2 candidates will be obama, and John McCain. Remember this when you cast your vote; obama is the more liberal than even ted kennedy in the Senate. obama's father was a radical muslim, and he said he's a Christian, but who was his pastor? His middle name is hussein. Can we count on him to support Israel? I say no! These are very important questions!

“The chief problem of American political life...has been how to make the two Congressional parties more national and international. The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can ‘throw the rascals out’ at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy.”

Depends on who you ask and what they consider to be “republican” and “democrat”. I happen to be a republican because of my beliefs in classic liberalism: minimal government in the everday lives of citizens while still following the social contract outlined by Locke and Hobbes. Although I do allow my moral compass to steer me in the direction of the Republican party I am not a religious conservative. There is a huge difference between the individuals who vote Republican for religous reasons and those who vote because they are simply Republican.
