For President: None of the Above!

It's probably no secret to anyone who reads my column regularly that I will not be voting for either Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton for president.

But I also will not be voting for John McCain.

I could tell you all the reasons and have expressed them already in a number of columns in recent months. But this time, I'll let someone with whom I seldom agree express them for me.

His name is Jonathan Chait, a senior editor at The New Republic. Here's what he wrote in that magazine:

"Even though it is in the public record, McCain's voting behavior during Bush's first term is almost never mentioned in the press anymore. Yet McCain's secret history is simply astonishing. It is no exaggeration to say that, during this crucial period, McCain was the most effective advocate of the Democratic agenda in Washington.

This is what the McCainiac posters are reduced to because their candidate is such a loser.

Calling other conservatives DU Trolls, obsessive, Democratic plants, et al.

But be of good cheer, this is usually the signal that they have no ammunition left and are simply trying to shut down discussion by labeling you in a dishonest manner.

I’ve said before, if I had to defend that POS, I’d be in a bad mood all the time as well.

Funny coming from you. You entire posting history since your sign up in 2007 is anti-McCain. Conservatives are not for McCain, they are against Obama. Your entire posting history after scrolling a couple pages of your posts is to convince Repulicans not to vote this election. Now why would a newbie like yourself want Obama to win the election?

So you are a leftarded troll and admit to voting in the Democratic congress. What is your screen name at DU?

Reagan was a Democrat for years, would you have accused him of being a DU plant?

People change as they grow older, most of the time for the better.

Reagan would never try to convince people not to vote, or to let the other party win to teach the GOP a lesson.

“Reagan would never try to convince people not to vote, or to let the other party win to teach the GOP a lesson.”

I see a lot more of McCainiacs trying (poorly) to bully others into voting FOR him than anyone else trying to convinve people not to.

Did you sit out the last election?

Nope. I've voted in every election (local, state, national) since I was eligible to vote in 1971.

Who are you voting for Potus?

See my tagline.

Let me add I was a Fred supporter with both time and money. I am also I feel generous with my support (financial) with FR. I do not see Fred on the ticket now. How does writing in Fred prevent an Obama takeover? Your decided to pick this fight so how about some answers. I promise I will not let go of it.

It may not, but it's not my problem. You want McCain...you get him elected!

That would make sense. This is not DU or KOS. Conservatives all want the same thing, we just disagree on how to get there.
