Kerry and Al Gore did not have to spend 4 days proving they were qualified for the Presidency. Kerry said he was “reporting for Duty”, but that implied that he had the ability to do the job.

Sure, they tried to sell their particular vision of what they wanted to do to the country, but nobody suggested they had to show that they had the qualifications for the job.

The last President who had to do that was Bush, in 2000. The Media made a big deal about how unqualified Bush was for the Presidency — but he was much more qualified than Obama.

Before that, Clinton in 1992 had to do some selling of his “qualifications”, but he also was much more qualified to be President, both in experience and intelligence, than Barack Obama.

Obama is completely unqualified to be a leader. Forget what he wants to do AS leader — even if he was an arch-conservative, I would have trouble voting for him, because he has no capability to do the job.

What they couldn’t come up with an original idea and had to steal McCain’s? How transparent. Withthe internet the Dems seem to be as stupid as most have already believed but now are even surpasing stupid!

Kerry said he was “reporting for Duty”, but that implied that he had the ability to do the job.

That, in itself is merely marketing. Claiming to be 'ready for duty' doesn't make it true. The swift boat veterans blew a hole in his claim rather quickly, by the simple use of facts.

I agree that Obama is definately NOT qualified to be President, but I am also claiming that we haven't seen a democRAT that was qualified, perhaps since Truman. Meaning, in my opinion, that every democRAT convention has essentially been a marketing ploy to "sell" us the latest annointed one.

It may be a bit old-fashioned, but a good product still sells itself.

Jan Sibelius = Finland’s greatest composer.

Gov. Sebelius = Dim-land’s greatest poser.

"text and video questions can be submitted online at www.DemConvention.com/townhall through Wednesday, August 27"

I thought townhall meetings were ones where questions were asked then and there, not submitted beforehand.

Whenever the left does the “submit questions beforehand” trick, the questions are always supportive of the whole program of leftness, with no dissent.

It’s no “town hall” at all.

If it’s “America’s Town Hall”, how come Republicans aren’t invited?
