Each night of the convention will carry a different theme.
On Monday night, the theme will be “One Nation” and will focus on Barack Obama as a new leader who is ready to serve as President. Tuesday night’s theme will be “Renewing Americas Promise” and will feature Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D - New York) in a discussion on Barack Obama as a new leader who is ready to serve as President.. Wednesday night is veterans’ night or “Securing Americas Future” night where the vice presidential nominee will deliver his/her acceptance speech which will focus on Barack Obama as a new leader who is ready to serve as President.. And finally, Thursday night’s theme is “Change You Can Believe In” and will have Barack Obama formally accepting the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination and will will focus on Barack Obama as a new leader who is ready to serve as President..
“This will be an incredibly exciting and innovative convention,” Gov. Sebelius said. “One like we’ve never seen before.”
Uh huh.
It should tell America something that the message of the convention is that Obama is “ready to serve as President”.
When is the last time that a candidate was so unprepared for the job that the party felt like it had to spend the entire convention trying to trick people into thinking the candidate was ready for the job?
