We just saw Barack Obama win the Presidential election. Before I begin analyzing the President-elect's Administration, I want to make a point. Congratulations Senator. You have gotten many people involved in the political process, and have run a great campaign. Congrats. While I find it necessary to congratulate the President-elect, I must not hinder myself from analyzing him, and the administration of his that is yet to come. After his victory speech to an extremely large crowd, the President-elect has left us to wonder what ways the political winds will blow in his administration. Will it be an extreme Liberal administration, like his policies propose? Or will it be a centerist administration? It is clear that if the Senator follows his Liberal policies, such as his idea of spreading the wealth around and raising taxes on Americans, he will, naturally, have a Liberal administration. If he compromises some of these principles, and lays off of some of his radical political ideas, he may be able to govern from the center. The only way that we will be able to know how he will govern before January 20th is to look at who he will apoint to his cabinet. If he apoints more moderate Democrats and Republicans, he will probably try to govern from the center. If he apoints hardcore Liberals, and hardcore Liberals alone, the President-elect's policies will most certainly follow suit, and he will govern from the Left. Now that he has already officially chosen a White House Chief of Staff, let's look at this first pick.
