Overall, he hurt the GOP. At first he seemed to be doing well, but as time passed, he sold out Domestic policy to the Dems, turned his back on the platform and principles, and made Republicans unelectable. 7 years later and he still has done little to close the southern border with Mexico

• He has increased domestic discretionary spending at a higher rate than any president since LBJ.

The choices in 2000 were Bush or McCain, two RINO’s. I believe that if McCain had won, the same question would still stand.

The GOP killed itself with it’s ludicrous nomination process. Until they do something about that, it is doomed.

I have the right to have my opinion regardless of who I voted for, but I voted for a party hack in most cases.

George W. Bush has done more to harm the Republican party than nearly any other one individual in America, and while I voted for the freak, McCain would have been much worse for us.
