Apparently, Barack Obama has selected Gregory Craig as his White House Counsel, this according to Politico. This sure seems an odd choice for someone who literally a few weeks ago was promising us change beyond our wildest dreams. Why? Because of who Gregory Craig is: Craig has represented numerous high-profile clients. In 1981, he represented John Hinckley, Jr., who tried to assassinate Ronald Reagan. Backed by overwhelming psychiatric opinion, he led Hinckley's successful insanity defense.[7]
Craig represented Senator Ted Kennedy during the 1991 rape trial of William Kennedy Smith.[8] (The Senator himself faced no charges in this trial.)
He represented the Cuban father of Elián González during the 2000 child custody dispute which ended when U.S. Marshals enforced court orders that the child be moved from the Florida home of relatives, where they had influenced the child to make a number of videos lashing out at his father.[9] The courts ultimately supported the father's contention that the child should be returned to his custody, a decision father's rights groups around the world greeted with overwhelming approval.

Obama’s “Change” so far has included a bunch of old Washington DC insiders. So much for change.
Has anyone heard anything about Janet Yellen being on his list for Sec. of Treasury?
The “Change” is back to the Clinton/Carter era ....
“Change” = More of the same, but worse.
Do you really think Obama voters could miss this one?
Reject Obamunism in all it’s forms.
What change?
Obama is just recycling the Clintonista re-treads back into positions of power.
Most of our newest voters are too young to remember the Clinton era, so it’s NEW & CHANGED to them!
Just wait until this rumor occurs:
Al Gore as Obama’s EPA Chief....
Strap in folks, we’ve gone over the edge of the cliff
I think AlGore has said that he won’t serve in an Obama cabinet. His confirmation hearing would be a circus, revealing just how much of a dim-bulb he really is. Besides he’s making a lot of money with his Jim Jones act.
This Greg Craig choice, so far, is EASILY the stupidest Obama’s made. JUST LOOK at those three cases, especially Elian Gonzalez and Hinckley. People still remember those, and I daresay a little red flag is going up even as we speak in the minds of many of the less than hardcore Obama voters. I mean, could it be any more obvious about what one thinks of Reagan than you would defend his would-be assassin? This , finally, in its own way, is “overreaching”. This Messiah is not as smart as some people think. PAGING CRAIG LIVINGSTONE!!!
how is CurrentTV doing? hahahah
these picks tell me the man hasnt got a clue
When someone is unsure of themselves they aim for the safety of the past
It’s hard for me to be upset over this. Our big fears about what he wanted to do were all just fears...he truly is an empty suit and he doesn’t know squat on how to do anything...So he has to reach back...plus all his payback appointments. Yawn..more of the same....people will see what a mistake they made...2010 could be very interesting and we need to get cracking now!
That’s a very good point: Al Gore would undergo a higher level of scrutiny for a cabinet position than a Presidential candidate undergoes.
Actually, it’s 68 million who voted for Obama. Probably more when the counting is done.
I think we’re going to have to “Change” because the crap is coming.
