A Strategy for Sarah

FReepers,

Palin can lead a wave of Conservatives (GOP/2.0) into the Senate and House in 2010.

Then she could ride the crest of a new movement into the White House in 2012.

There will be plenty of socialist policies she will dissent with from the well of the Senate.

Unless Republicans win 18 seats in the Senate in ‘10, they will stay in the minority and she will be free to play the vociferously loyal opposition.

Therefore, she can be Minority Leader (to Hell with Seniority), begin her Presidential run (unabashedly so) and fillet the Dem policies every Sunday on a rotating schedule for each Network.

This will be a winning strategy. The rules have changed.

Little Lord Barry Bohica rewrote the political rule book. Palin can perfect it.

FYI Peep FReepers,

The Senate is ‘exactly’ where she will develop her campaign’s arguments for 2012. Logic, people, logic.

It takes very little gray matter to discern this.

For people not to intuitively understand this, makes me question their motivations for such a blithe dismissal of her abilities.

In addition, she will be able to derail any lame brain liberal policy better from DC rather than Alaska. . . REFUTE THAT!!!

In the den of vipers is exactly where she will earn her DC bona fides. I want to see her every Sunday morning, spankin’ gregory et al.

Her sharing the stage with Hil? Can you imaging the MSM compare and contrast between the two?

People need to daily see Sarah as opposed to the ‘so-called’ competition. This will be quite illuminating for the insulated and ignorant electorate.

She will live out her principles for all the world to see.

The MSM will then only be able to spin just so much in her disfavor. She will be right there to smite any liar versus a rebuttal having to come Alaska.

A smear can stick in the course of 1 day. 2 days, and you can be toast. Fact.

Her loud voice will be the best to beat back any socialist policy. Bar None!!!

I seriously doubt she will compromise her principles while in the Senate. She ain't sold out yet, what makes you think she will start now?

It is that very “compromise” that people detest the most about senators. That is why senators rarely get elected president.

It is their respective voting records where they get skewered in campaigns. Two scant years of voting 'against' boneheaded liberal policy will only cement her arguments for the campaign.

She is young. She can return to Alaska and run for Governor after her time in DC. Alaska aint goin’ anywhere.

I want to see her grow old.

Barry has sped up the political cycle. Get used to it.

Your “conventional wisdom” ain't gonna work on me.

Quite frankly, y’all need to “man-up” . . . Sarah has!!!

I’m All-In.

Home-Girl ain't ‘skuurrred!!!

This is a bad idea, running for the senate seat. The person Palin is running against in 2012 (if she does) will be the incumbent siting in an executive chair. She would need to have a similar position (governor). By selectively campaigning for others running in 2010, she will remain in the national spotlight and she can pick which candidates/platform ideas she wants to align with. Governor Palin will in all likelyhood still be governor of the great state of Alaska in 2011 and will run from that position for President. If Barack has high opinion ratings and things are flowing smoothly, my bet is she does not run until 2016, only if Barack is weak will any challenger stand a chance since BO has the MSM so heavily on his side.

Only the corruptable are corrupted. There are people who have other than their own interests, and Palen is one. If she can’t stand the heat of Washington, then we don’t need her. However, I’m thinking she can stand, and tower over, the DC mindset.

Do you get the impression those that recommend that Sarah stay in Alaska as Governor are really saying “Nice doggie, nice doggie, go to your doghouse and play in the backyard, we don’t want you stinking up OUR house while I am at the office going about the true business of the world. When I come home again you can come back into the house and I will interact and play with you-you will for a short while be the focus of my attention. Before I go to sleep I will escort you to the backyard and to your doghouse so you can do your thing there; in the morning the cycle repeats itself-eventually the dog gets the idea he or she does not have a role to play in the most important part of his master’s or mistress’ life, and isn’t that what people who recommend that Sarah stay in Alaska are saying to Sarah-that she does not have any important role to play in the life of the United States of America-stay in your own backyard and amuse yourself there.

“The ‘theme’ that you are peddling is getting rather long in the tooth. It is all over FreeRepublic.com”

“Can’t we just hide her in Alaska?”

Just because other people feel the same way I do does not mean I'm wrong. Most people on FR are intelligent enough to have this opinion. Your career plan is illogical, two years as a freshman Senator in the minority party will not be as good as a continued record of good performance as a governor.
I never said “hide her in Alaska”, and I can't believe that you are stupid enough to believe that being governor of a state is the same as being in hiding. If Governor Palin does a good job, opportunities will come. She is better off doing the job she was elected to do instead of letting people like you try to orchestrate her career.

I think she should run for the old crooks house seat in 2010. That would get her foot in the door to Washington, She should spend 4 years there with the idea that she will be the speaker if we could possibly get back to the majority. It would shake up the gop as well as the rats. 2014? She runs for the Senate against the 2008 winner. She will by then have made her mark and 2016 would be deservedly hers. How many ex-gop Governors run for winnable Senate seats? Think Huck(2008) Thompson(twice) N.Dakota, Owens, Nicholsen-I could go on.
