NEW YORK – Insane. Childish. Disaster. And those were some of the kinder comments from political pundits about Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and his response to President Barack Obama's speech to Congress on Tuesday night. Jindal, 37, a Rhodes scholar and son of Indian immigrants, is considered a rising star in Republican ranks and a likely 2012 presidential candidate.
GOP leaders, looking for a fresh face for the party's image, tapped Jindal earlier this month for the high-profile task of rebutting Obama's first address to a joint session of Congress.
But in both style and substance, Jindal's speech has drawn flak from Republicans and Democrats alike.

Exactly...you know the left is worried when Republicans pop up in soundbites and film clips on inane entertainment programs like The Soup. A Bobby Jindal clip was shown right after one of the Slumdog Million children was shown on screen. So typical.
I am sick of all this carping on Jindal! When has any other non-SOTU (or SOTU for that matter) response ever in history been given this type of attention. LAYOFF GOV. JINDAL! Republicans especially should cut it out! When do you ever see liberals attacking their own?

i have seen Jindal speak in person and I saw him in the SOTU Response.
What you saw on Tuesday night was Bobby at his worst, I am not sure what was wrong but everything from his message to his delivery was terrible.
In person, in a room of people Bobby is great.

Can’t say I was ever impressed with young, bright eyed and busy tailed conservatives. They tend to be naive in their own way, and in some respects not unlike their counterparts of the left.
Some seasoning and maturity will bring them a long way, but that takes time.
It doesn’t surprise me that they would break for ‘Man Tan’ Mitt Romney.
So now Romney is entering his Second Term as the GOP Straw Poll Winner for President.
People who “talk good” don’t impress me. I prefer people who just get the job done and can’t be bothered with just telling you what they are going to do. Shut up and just do it!
