1) Be Prepared- Have your argument prepared why they should oppose the Obama agenda
2) Tell a Personal Story- Speak to how what is happening in D.C. is impacting your or your family
3) Use Numbers If You Have Them- Use the polls, use the data from other Countries that have followed the Obama path in the past.
4) Be Respectful- You may not respect the person, but be respectful of the office they hold.
5) Go in Groups- Bring the Tea Party to the Town Hall Meeting!
6) Talk to Staff- An aid is always at the meeting. Find that person and explain your thoughts and what you are doing in the community to fight the Obama agenda.
7) Leave Paper- Look for local paper editorials against the Obama agenda, look for local polls, look for anything that supports your posistion.
8) Follow-up Politely- Send the Representative an email thanking them for hosting the meeting and remind them of your thoughts and next steps.
9) Get People to Multiple Meetings- See if the Representative is conducting multiple meetings in the district/state. If so, go or coordinate someone to go on your behalf.
10)Demostrate You're Not Going Away- Speaks for itself.

Conservatives do not use the term “Tea Bag” as a verb.
Why is a conservative using the term that you used?
How about get inside and ask good questions.
“Why will I be fined $50 a week and get the same coverage as an illegal alien who pays nothing?”
How do we find out where the town hall meetings are going to be? I get stuff in the mail for my Rep., Dan Burton, but can’t remember any info on other districts who may have democrat reps.
You might want to change the title. The proper term is “tea party.” Tea-bagging is a slang term for a certain sex act.
The other side likes to make fun of us using the wrong term.
Please don’t take offense. However, please focus on the subject of the post. I may have chosen the wrong word...sorry.
Obama’s people are holding these town hall meetings, the first one in Reserve La got mentioned by Limbaugh and conservatives got in some zingers... I am sure their tour schedule is online somewhere
Kind of odd, dude.... Especially quoting an article from an arthritis website...
please change the headline to something else...
Using the miscreants words such as “Tea Bag” reflects poorly on us, and immediately kills anything good about the rest of the idea.
Personally, I think that the article needs to be deleted.
BTW, I don’t offend easily, but I’ll be damned if I am going to be made to look like, or sink to the level of those filthy traitors.
I’m not going to even read the article... change the title, now.
Please change the title to Tea Party... I posted the wrong name. I am sorry to anyone that I offended.
Ditto!
Heritage Foundation--Another excellent source of stats. Easy-to-print PDFs about every issue we care about.
Just be prepared. The Rent-A-Mobs will be out in force at local offices and Townhall meetings.
I went there to use their own methods against them.
Excellent information. I will use.
That is where we need to engage.
Well, well, well. Do a search for all of the arthritis groups who helped get Obama elected. They were even instrumental in working with his infomercial:
