You know what’s interesting? No one is talking about the Dakota Governors (Mike Rounds of SD and John Hoeven of ND). Both are solid Republicans, have served two or more terms, and their states have low unemployment and none of the budget mess of other states. Hoeven, especially, sounds very impressive. He’s been Governor since 2000 and he’s only 52. Pro-life, pro-business, pro-gun, etc. Huge dark horse candidate, if he runs it’d be very hard to choose between him and Palin.
