Aurora City Councilman Ryan Frazier announced Thursday that he would switch gears and run for the House seat currently held by Rep. Ed Perlmutter (D-Colo.), rather than for the Senate.

Frazier lobbied for a right-to-work referendum that appeared on the ballot in Colorado last year. He’s a social moderate and favored a 2006 referendum that would have granted domestic partnership rights to same-sex couples.

Frazier, whose Senate campaign never took off, ranks as a recruiting success for the National Republican Congressional Committee, which didn’t have any serious candidates running against the second-term Democrat.

Do these peole (NRCC) ever support Conservatives?

Did that mean there were NO candidates other then Frazier? Better they at least run someone then let the D get reelected without challenge.
