"Rob is running to restore economic common sense in Washington and bring growth and prosperity to Kansas," said Senator John McCain. "He embodies the spirit and values of Kansas, and will bring those values with him to Washington. He has always worked hard for Kansas and I know he will serve the citizens of Kansas well in Congress. Rob Wasinger has the right experience, vision, and values to lead Kansas into an era of economic growth and prosperity. He is an exemplary public servant we can trust."

You would think that by now most Republicans would shy away from any endorsement by Mr. McCain let alone paste it all over their website - Glad I don't live in Kansas and have to deal with these people. If I did live there, I would expect that Rob would not publicize this "endorsement" as to me it would be a death blow.

Juan McCain is a POS. We have a muslim usurper because McCain played games with being born in some off base hospital in Panama.

If McCain is for him, beware. McCain is the enemy.

That endorsement sounds like McCain doesn’t know much about this candidate. Just a bunch of platitudes with no substance. McCain, although a vet who deserves our thanks,is nothing but a slimeball politician.

How many votes did McCain get in Kansas?

The last congressman endorsed by McCain in my district lost to a conservative then endorsed the democrat himself.

His positions on issues do not look too bad.

If he seeks and/or accepts mcqueeg’s support— it shows a very serious flaw. He’s probably a RINO at best.

I do not know anything about Rob Wasinger, but if McCrazy is for him, I am against him.

I think I'd rather vote for his dad.

Meet Rob

My dad served three tours of duty in Vietnam. He was called up for duty for both Desert Shield and Desert Storm. When duty calls, our family always answers. Just like his father, who served in World War II, and his uncles who also served their country, when the country called – he stood up to be counted.

He served every time with honor.

Yet Rob didn't serve?

Funny....but that is my criteria for discernment using liberals as a ‘go-by’. Odd coincidence, eh?

Rob Wasinger (http://www.robwasinger.com/s/) is definitely one of us. Because McCain endorsed him does not mean that he is McCain; if anything, it is even more impressive because it means that Wasinger, who is a true conservative, is able to unite both conservatives and establishment Republicans. Plus Wasinger is developing a huge following across Western Kansas from limited government people to county life-chain coordinators.

I certainly hope so. Any association with McCain is a red flag though.
