For Immediate Release

Vaughn is the Republican Party’s best hope in claiming Maryland’s U.S. Senate Seat

Baltimore, Md.--, Corrogan R. Vaughn is the Republican Party’s best hope at reclaiming the U.S. Senate Seat currently held by Barbara Mikulski. Vaughn, a Baltimore Resident and businessman has long been active in Maryland’s Republican Party becoming one of its rising stars over the years.

Vaughn, a behind-the-scenes conservative who has seen his influence grow as of late due to his association with the Tea Party Movement, opposition to Government-Run Health Care and the renewed interest in conservative fiscal and social values espoused by many Marylanders and Americans in opinion polls.

Vaughn is promoting his “Not about party and politics, but about People and Principles” theme with strong, Reagan-like positions on key issues that will put Marylanders and Americans back to work, make Government Accountable and Fiscal Responsibility, Promote Traditional Family Values and Strong National Security.

In recent months, Vaughn has been crisscrossing Maryland, speaking at rallies, clubs and other civic organization, calling out the local, state, and national politicians for their reckless spending; their blatant disregard for the U.S. Constitution; their over-taxation and over-regulation; killing jobs instead of creating them, and their obsessive promoting the homosexual agenda and gay marriage.

That has fueled speculation among political observers that Vaughn is being seasoned for a U.S. Senatorial run, as a populist “People’s Candidate.” In addition, Vaughn’s supporters have launched a Web site aimed at gathering broad support for his candidacy at www.vaughn4america.com.

Vaughn has chosen the historical Belvedere Hotel on January 15th 2010 for his announcement prayer breakfast at 9am. Vaughn picked the announcement date of Martin L. King Jr.’s actual birthday (not the observed holiday) for several reasons. On January 15 he will discuss those reasons in his first formal address to members of the press, the citizens of Maryland and the Nation.

Freepers, the rumor going around the State Capitol is that Mikulski is in failing health and that if she does win reelection, she will step down in the following weeks and O'Malley will appoint himself to her Senate Seat.

"...has seen his influence grow as of late due to his association with the Tea Party Movement..."

That's all I need to know. He is one of us.

4. Lead by enacting true and ethical fiscal responsibility and restraint
6. Freeze all unnecessary federal governmental spending
10. Promote stronger national defense and support military effectiveness
11. Strongly support and defend both the Pro-Life Agenda and the rights of the unborn.
12. Secure and defend our borders under the guidelines of the US Constitution.

Sounds like a solid conservative to me.

He is one of us.

That's impossible. Chris Matthews said the Tea Party Movement is all white people. Harry Reid is not going to like this guy.

Kevin, I am normally an optimistic person, but living in the peoples repugnant of Murland does not give me any hope that anyone will beat Babs.

Having said that, I want to be wrong and am glad there are optimists like you out there.

My best hope is that Andy Harris can unseat Kratovil in the HOR.

If Maryland is actually in play (and I consider that VERY unlikely), then the Dems are going to lose both houses of Congress.

I sounded very pessimistic in my previous post but this is more important than simply defeating our liberal senators from Maryland. We need to show all Americans, including Americans whose ethnicity is African in origin, that conservative values are the only values that offer freedom and opportunity to achieve “the American Dream’ to all citizens regardless of artificial category or group identity.

Despite the low likelihood of success I will support this candidate to include financially because his candidacy is important even if it fails.

It is just one more example that those who traditionally vote overwhelmingly for the Dhimmicrat Party are starting to realize the insidious and controlling nature of liberal politics.

Well,I’m from New Jersey so I am hoping that Mr. Vaughn will look at my state and see that anything is possible. Including the chance that we could have a Republican Senator from Maryland.

If Vaughn pulls within eight percent, I'll support him up to the legal limit on donations. I just would find that a surprising situation.
