Gibbs should shut up. His boss can’t say two words other than “uh” and “um without a teleprompter.

Why doesnt Gibbs just donate his brain to science? Science would probably give it back.

Thank you, Mr. Gibbs. To complete this exercise, you must now make a 40-minute policy speech, with a few zingers and applause lines that are based on truth, using only your brain and your palm-notes.

Let’s do this methodically. Palin wins, 99 to 1.
That is, Palin remembers about 99% of her speech, with 1% scribbled on her hand.
Obama’s speeches are 100% teleprompter, which leaves 0% memorized. We’ll give him 1% as a handicap. Even if you give him a really large advantage like 10%, Palin still wins 99 to 10.

So in your mind, having a word or two as a reminder for talking points written down is the same as READING your ENTIRE SPEECH from a teleprompter?

The WH attacks another private citizen.
Obama is thin-skinned and can’t take any criticism.
He would have a nervous breakdown if not for a fawning media.
The guy is a lightweight and an empty-suit and proves Palin right once again.

Can’t you just imagine the “outrage” from the LSM, if Tony Snow or Dana Perino had pulled a stunt like this.

So in your mind, having a word or two as a reminder for talking points written down is the same as READING your ENTIRE SPEECH from a teleprompter? You think Palin's speech was extemporaneous? Give me a break! If you watch her speech Palin is constantly looking down at the podium between phrases. Obviously she had either a copy of the speech speech or, more likely since she didn't seem to be turning pages, a screen displaying her address set in the podium and she was referring to it.

That is, Palin remembers about 99% of her speech, with 1% scribbled on her hand. Hardly. Watch her speech and she's looking down at the podium between phrases. She no doubt reading it from a screen. And so what? No politician in their right mind will give a major speech extemporaneously.
To: Non-Sequitur
“No politician in their right mind will give a major speech extemporaneously.”
This statement more than justifies a few notes scribbled on the palm.
