What plans do you have to help Arkansas economically?

First, our family is creating jobs (plastics company, tool and die shop, car dealerships (being reinstated as Chevrolet dealer), radio station, and realty company! I will support a do-over of the health care bill with one that includes things I have worked on in the Arkansas Senate (tort reform, insurance competition, increasing number of doctors and nurses with additional educational facilities). I will support helping our community banks to make loans to small business people, I will support efforts that move people into productive work!

There is no excuse for Arkansas having two Democrat Senators.

The people of that state should be deeply deeply ashamed.

You don’t understand Arkansas. They still have the one party system. A majority of Arkansans are still Democrats because of Abe Lincoln. I imagine it is changing but for the average middle of the road Arkansan, the fact that the Democrats put one of their own in the White House kept the GOP from making the gains their that they made in the rest of the South in the 90s.

Arkansas also is more rural than other southern states and while Arkansas has a sizeable black population, most of them are not in contact with most of the states white population and that leads to continued Democrat loyalty among whites that you don’t see in parts of the south that have higher minority population.

That Lincoln is in trouble at all has to do with Obama and health care only. Without both of those, she’d be coasting as it simply remains a one party state.

Do you think anybody has a chance of beating Pryor?

The fact that this bill funds abortion must hurt him.
