I understand the thread, but to think the government can handle mother nature is asinine. That Katrina bullsh%t was all about a race war. The folks stuck below sea level did so by their own laziness. It couldn’t be lit up any different. If folks truly need help they have friends, family, and neighbors to do it. New Orleans is a lesson in how not to wait for nature’s wrath to strike and then pillage the city.

Right! the attitude of many of those living in New Orleans was,well,we haven’t had a major hurricane in 10/12 years,so Whats there to worry about? And look at what happened in Miami in 1992. Although I live in Florida,at least I have places to relocate in case Hurricane Damien wipes out my condo complex.
