I don’t think it looks like a separate party. More like a branch to help and strengthen the GOP, with a goal to take power from the RNC which has failed miserably in several contests, although it’s worked successfully without fanfare behind the scenes.
The RNC needs a new board. Also, people need to remember that national parties have the duty to endorse and support incumbents, and until that changes, a lot of us are always going to be unhappy.
