>>> Filibuster in Danger in Lame-Duck Session

Doubtful. The dems in two more years likely will again be in the minority. They’ll then need the filibuster rules as they are.

Exactly as the Gang of 14 saved the filibuster for the republicans the last several years. Hotheads can demagogue all they want for the peanut gallery. But at the end of the day the the grownups remember that majorities come and go.

It will only be valid for the upcoming Congress.

But it will give the action of "no filibuster" legitimacy. When the Repubs take the majority in the Senate, they can use the same rule against the Dems. The Dems will not have a defense, although the will probably cry foul anyhow.

Conservatives should watch closely to see if Reid tries to exterminate the filibuster from the Senate rules without a fair vote. Conservatives need to fight any change of the filibuster rule. Without it, the Obama Administration and Sen. Reid will ignore the will of the American people.

Didn't Reid get the memo from O'Dumbo that "bipartisanship" is now "in?" Or does that not kick in until January?

The crimials are out of their freaking minds if they expect anything from the Republican majority different from what they have been doing for two years and, from the looks of this, continue doing.
