You post an article from a lefty columnist, writing in a left leaning daily, that NO ONE here respects; the only thing of note about this article is that it sports a more or less neutral headline (it certainly isn't positive) above the totally expected, ill informed and repetitive, usual SP put downs.

If Sarah Palin were a man, there would be no doubt whatsoever that ‘he’ had earned his own shot at the presidency, and would have complete backing by the Party.

Sarah Palin has taken more abuse from the MSM and the RINOs than anyone in my lifetime. It speaks to her gigantic strength and faith that she has endured to do anything. Most people would have buckled under such persecution. Instead, she is more popular than ever and I loved SARAH PALIN'S ALASKA. It is so refreshing to see a real family living out life in their culture in a clean and respectful way, rather than to be following their children through a narcissistic path through celebrity rehab and back as though such a thing is just a “rite of passage.” America is hungering for good and not evil and Sarah Palin brings that to us. I will support her in anything she chooses to do.

I don't know this author but I couldn't agree more with this assessment:

Before this election, Republicans had become so accustomed to losing that even in victory, they still sound defeated. Instead of being pleased with a strong performance, some GOP lawmakers prefer to see the glass as half empty and portray themselves of victims of an insurgency by the tea party.

They never consider the possibility that it was the tea party votes that allowed them to compete in the first place. Nor do they consider the possibility that the GOP establishment might be as much to blame as anyone for not winning control of the Senate.
