Sharron Angle's wounds may still be fresh after losing to Harry Reid in the Nevada Senate race earlier this month, but she's already looking ahead. She told a reporter Saturday she might run for a U.S. House seat in 2012 if the incumbent, Dean Heller, challenges Sen. John Ensign. Or she might try to unseat Ensign herself if Heller chooses not to.
"I have a lot of options next cycle," the tea party-backed candidate told the Lahontan Valley News. "Lots of options."
Angle told the paper she's in no hurry to make a decision. And Heller has not indicated his plans either. (Angle lost to Heller in the 2006 GOP primary by just 421 votes.)
Ensign would appear to be vulnerable to challengers. He admitted last year to having an affair with the wife of a former staffer, and is being investigated for trying to find a lobbying job for that staffer as part of an effort to keep the affair under wraps. Ensign has said he did not violate any law or Senate ethics rule.

My feelings exactly.

I expect that Dean Heller will run for the U.S. Senate, which he considered running for this year. Maybe I’m in the minority on this, but I would have no problem with Sharron Angle being the nominee to succeed Heller. She did outpoll Harry Reid in northern Nevada, and don’t forget that she’s excellent on the issues. Also, she improved on the stump in October.
I’m supporting Angle if she runs again, check Posting #5. You jumped the gun.
I’m wondering if Lowden wouldn’t do better than Angle against Ensign.
As a Nevada resident who voted for Angle, I’m not entirely convinced that Reid won. Too many statistically anomalous things occurred that casts doubt.
I doubt that Sue Lowden would have done better after the “chickens for checkups” gaffe. Danny Tarkanian might have done better and I now wish that he had won the primary, though I supported Sharron Angle at the time.
Sharron Angle and the leadership of the GOP (if there is one) would do the nation a service if they investigated and exposed the voter fraud that kept her from winning the Senate seat in Nevada.
Go for it!
hope she does it
Is Sharron runs again, I’ll kick in a few bucks for the effort.
Sharron has two big advantages, name recognition and a large donar list. Sarah supporters will be there to help.
