I’m not sure what to think about this. I think she’s been more powerful bringing conservatives into our government doing what she’s been doing since leaving the governorship. I say we just make her GOP Chair and revitalize the party.

Nawwww,

Her leadership skills and positions on the issues scream out for POTUS.

GOP Chair screams Pence, Barbour, maybe Jindal.

Yeah who needs a great president, didn’t we all try to get Reagan to run the RNC instead, actually the liberals in the GOP may have tried that.

I like the way Palin Derangement Syndrome makes liberals eyes bug out. Seriously, of the names that are on this list she really is my favorite. Any names that are NOT on this list better get some name recognition “toot suite” or risk being an asterisk.

These early polls don’t mean diddly squat. And I’m backing Palin.

Excuse me for posting an opinion. Like I said ... I’m on the fence about Palin. We’ll see what happens over the next couple of years ... maybe I’ll be convinced one way or the other. But your snide comments won’t make the difference.

When in history has the conservative response to a conservative being positioned to win the White House, been to decide that we should make him head of the RNC instead of President?

My point was this .... take a look at what she's accomplished since she left office. I don't think we could have taken back the house and so many governor spots if she hadn't been out there in the public eye pushing the conservative agenda. She is a very powerful voice and is poking a stick in the eye of the GOP making them all wake up and get back to the right instead of center and even left of center. And I didn't say she shouldn't be president ... just that I'm not convinced that she'd be able to do the job as well as she is able with the left, some from the "right," and the media hounding her left and right. These two reasons are why she left her governor spot and she's doing exactly what she said she would do. IMO (that's right ... opinion ... we're all entitle to one), she's more effective w/o the constraints of public office.

She left the Alaskan Governor’s seat because you can’t fight anything from Alaska or Hawaii, the media would have destroyed her here while the opposition and the inability to travel constantly kept her pinned thousands of miles away from us, the Presidency is where a great party/national leader heads to, not to chairman of the RNC.

Whatever. You’re looking for an argument where none exists. Just because I’m not sold on her as president yet doesn’t mean I won’t be two years down the road. At this point in time, yeah I think she’d be better as GOP chair. That may change.

What a phony bunch of BS, we conservatives are in the lead to put a conservative in the White House, your man can be RNC chair.

Sticking Palin in as RNC chair would take her out of the ‘12 presidential running. Our best bet for our first actually conservative president since Reagan, and you want to pull her out of the race?

I want to hear her speak more substantively on foreign affairs in coming months, but so far she’s demonstrated that she’s our best candidate out there.

Have a nice day.

I am disagreeing with your insanely ridiculous (and phony)idea that when conservatives are poised to win the Presidency, we try to get that candidate to replace Michael Steele over at the RNC instead.

Are you always so whiny and overly dramatic when someone disagrees with you?

Funny ... I thought I was being civil until my last post, even while you seemed to be a jerk from the get-go.

Go back and read my posts and try to get a grip on your attitude. Not once did I mention Steele. Not once did I say make her GOP chair now so that she can’t run for president. Not once did I put a timeline on anything other than the possibility of me changing my mind about Palin one way or the other. All I did was post my thoughts AT THIS TIME about her.

Sheesh ... can’t a person have an opinion on this topic w/o being slammed for it?

Any mention of timeline? Steele? Immediate induction as Chair?
Nope.

And do you disagree that she’s been incredibly powerful since leaving the Alaska political arena?

I’m done and won’t be checking back for answers to the above questions. You’re clearly just looking to argue. Find your kicks with someone else.
