See post 59....
Actually, it's the latest mutation of Bush Derangement Syndrome.

Obsessive-Palin disorder (OPD) is an anxiety disorder in which liberal media members have unwanted and repeated thoughts of telling themselves that Sarah Palin has no shot at the presidency.
January of 2011 marked a turning point in progressive thinking. It can be summarized with this statement:
It'sGeorge W. Bush'sSarah Palin's fault. We hateGeorge W. BushSarah Palin.
Dewey Will Defeat Truman, D@mit.
Well, take it up with turfmann, who said that Sarah fought the children of Ishmael.
You might want to re-read Genesis 21, though....

While I was cleaning house today I had the TV blaring and heard somebody (it may have been Michael Reagan) say, “The country needs a cheerleader.” I thought YES, that is what we do need and I know just the cheerleader we need, even if she was a basketball player. She knows how to lead the cheers. America is depressed, spiritually, mentally and materially. Think about how we felt every time we saw and heard Sarah address a crowd. She lifts us up. The Tea Party is the conscience of America, and Sarah is the spirit of America.
Bill Kristol
Charles Krauthammer
Karl Rove
They will all be pushing, Romney, Pawlenty and Daniels.
I know Genesis 21 very well. My point was that Sarah did indeed have Ishmael banished. That is all. As to the rest, G-d was not thrilled that Hagar conceived a son with Abraham. It was not supposed to happen since G-d had been preparing Sarah. It was her own folly and his non-belief that Ishmael was conceived.
The child was saved because he was the seed of Abraham and from then until now, these two sons have been at war.
Such is the folly of man. When G-d tells you to do something, you listen. If you don’t, you pay the price. And a heavy price it is indeed.
Right -- Sarah did not "fight the children of Ishmael." Our FRiend might have paid a bit more attention to his wife's copy of the Bible.
As for the rest, it's a mishmash. Some of it is justified by Scripture, some appears to be an interpretation based on something other than Scripture.
DC insider Kristol Vs Palin, DC outside - why am I not surprised?
