Hey now, a good number of Jewish Republicans in the state parties of NJ and NY are active Freepers or lurkers here.

A few things have to happen before Jewish Republicans commit,

first New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has to definitively declare one way or another,

secondly ObamaCare lawsuits have to reach a conclusion,

thirdly Dodd Frank Reform fiasco has to find some clarity,

fourthly an actual list of R primary candidates needs to emerge,

fifthly comes down to how Israeli politicians forcefully come down on J Street and their concomitant fellow travelers,

sixthly, the US Jewish Republican electorate is no longer of a single voice on almost any issue due to various factors and agitprop campaigns,

Palin’s base problem in the Jewish Republican community is that she’s underqualified in the general consensus when it comes to issues most important to Jewish Republicans,

Also, the idea of a Jewish voting block turning an election only matters on a local and primary level.

Obama won by about a 3-4% margin. If every single Jew voted, and voted Dem, it wouldn’t account for that.

So it goes back to fundraising. As if to say Jews hold money and power, and run things. The media has been promoting this line for a long time, much like the false notion that AIPAC are the most influential lobby in the US, or that Neocons are Jewish war mongers, and an assortment of other creepy claims.

Jewish political organizations want their voices heard, and depend on donors, so they feed into the idea that their voting block matters. The reality is, scrutinizing what the Jews do just opens up a Pandoras box of offensive comments.
