“LOL! No way - I’m done pulling a lever for a rino - let’s the idiots keep barry if that’s the best they can do.”

Think it’s funny, do you? Problem is, the rest of us, our kids and grandkids have to live in the same country as “the idiots”. The current occupier of this White House is more evil than any in our lifetimes - he’s lethal for the Republic - we can’t outlast him and emerge intact.

If necessary, Rinos can be reigned in by the right Congress - but not Obama. So I will vote regardless - against him.

“Odumbo says everybody should speak a foreign language, but he CAN’T”

Au contraire - he speaks fluent ARABIC.

“Its one thing to make it voluntary and then study it for years, or even encourage it, but to mandate it and make it a requirement, that was dangerous.”

That’s an excellent point - I wasn’t even thinking of that.

Yeah, I do - you telling me/others that we WILL vote for Perry. If it's between Perry and Romney (which it will be0, you will vote for Perry. . Are you always this obnoxious? I thought that was reserved for the liberal media.

If necessary, Rinos can be reigned in by the right Congress - but not Obama. So I will vote regardless - against him.

You state The current occupier of this White House is more evil than any in our lifetimes - he’s lethal for the Republic - we can’t outlast him and emerge intact.

And then go to 'if' and 'could'. You could not be concerned about you kids/grandkids if you are willing to accept and 'if' and 'could' and expect others to be as weak in their commitment as you. This is NO time for wishful thinking. Not too surprising of 'your predication' of Rick and Mitt - like the MSM telling us our options.

Nothing like coming to this conservative site and seeing liberal tactics being played out - If it's between Perry and Romney (which it will be), you will vote for Perry.

You not only have the candidates already picked out for us, you are also telling us who we will vote for. Shove it and get yourself a reality check just who you are speaking to here. You are way over your head here.

“you telling me/others that we WILL vote for Perry.” “If it’s between Perry and Romney (which it will be0, you will vote for Perry.”

That line you quote must have been from another post, NOT mine - so kindly back off, okay? I never said a thing about it being between Perry and Romney (I hope it’s NOT), nor did I say for whom I would be voting, much less for whom you or anyone else will vote.

The quotes about BHO being dangerous and Rinos able to be reigned in by Congress are mine, but I was stating my own opinions there, not predicting (or advocating) anyone else’s.

So you must have two different posts mixed up. By the way, fighting amongst ourselves is just what the Left wants to see happen - divide and conquer.

Post #12 is the one you had confused with mine.

Nope. That's was my reply to another poster and you replied to that w/' you think it's funny, do you? And I told you what I thought was funny. It's wasn't your post but I was ENLIGHTENING you what I was responding to which really was your job to find out before responding w/your sarcasm. You had no idea what I was replying to but adding what 'you thought'. I stayed on target also with your post of 'If' and 'could' in spite of the urgency of what we have in office. Not too much urgency if someone goes into a wishful mode of 'if' and 'could'.

The million dollar question is...”

IMO you have hit the nail soundly on the head. Doesn’t seem like we know long term effects on most everything the kids are taking these days. One of my other concerns is the long term effects on drugs such as Ritalin. And why so many kiddos with autism now?

Re Perry. Parts of him are likeable. Went to a Republican Women’s meeting in Austin recently. He stopped by and ended up spending over an hour with us and answered everybody’s questions quite plainly, openly and honestly without a lot of double political talk - unlike some of our politicians such as Olson and Cornyn. I think people like him can have more influence remaining as a governor.

Get back to me when Perry does the following:

1. Renounces his attempt to force the Highway that stretched from Canada to Mexico down the throats of Texans.
2. His support of forcing a vaccine pushed by Pharmaceutical companies that he and other assumed was necessary based on the evil assumption that all kids were sexually active.
3. Renounces his refusal to support AZ1070.
4. Actually commits to being against illegal immigration, not just lip-service.

Until then, it’s all words driven by what Perry thinks will get him the most votes.

He is not trustworthy.

He is not a perfect candidate, but such a candidate does not exist and never has. But Perry is one of the few potential candidates with both the skill and record to build a credible national effort quickly, and turn the national political landscape around in his favor. If he were to run, Rick Perry would be a very strong candidate.

I’m not a big Perry fan, but warts and all, compared to the clowns who have we have to choose from so far, he’s a rock star.

Thanks - finally someone who has given some facts to put this man in perspective. What bothers me about this site sometimes is that certain purity tests, and we all have them, lead some to shoot themselves in the foot. If you look at some of this man’s real accomplishments he is so much better then the current occupant of the White House. Some, however, seem content to let Obama have another four years because they are not 100% satisfied with some of Perry’s positions.

I amazes me that so many are so quick to try jump on and try to destroy Rick Perry. You’d think they were libs.
Whenever Perry is mentioned, this place looks like DU.
If they don’t like him, then stfu. No point in giving the rats ammunition.
As I said, considering the JOKES we have to choose from
so far, Rick Perry is a ROCK STAR!

No, patriot, Rick Perry is not a rock star.

He’s a weak governor in a state with comparatively little government, amongst a populace who does not appreciate government interference.

And he’s still repeatedly tried to interfere and been shot down.

Texas is doing just fine in spite of Perry.

I shudder to think what he would do with the administrative power of the Oval Office.

This is NOT something we want.

If Rick didn’t have a purty face and a way with words, nobody would be looking at him. Didn’t we learn anything from 2008 about the false promise of charisma?
