Wow ! that’s great!
Have you put together an electoral vote, by state, map showing her with 270+ votes ?

i agree with you.
especially i think Palin would irritate him, and make him lose his cool in the debates...

and sadly, i think the economy is going to get a lot worse before then. (if the Gov. used it’s OWN inflation numbers in the GDP calculation (which they don’t), we’d officially be back in recession).
And Obama has almost guaranteed a mideast war by October.
...and even the British Telegraph reported him golfing on Memorial day, which they say would be like their PM golfing on Remembrance day. Even some USA papers are beginning to ridicule him.
For the Democrats, the end justifies anything.
if they KNOW that Obama will lose... won’t they run someone else? (after using Obama up as a “lightning rod”).

So I know it seems unlikely now, but i’ve said for months now, i don’t believe Obama will be their candidate in 2012.

but I talk to lots of mushy middle ground types, and almost universally they dislike Palin even more than they dislike Obama.

I can think of alot of things Obama has done to them to cause them to dislike him:

The widely unpopular Obamacare

Billions of dollars wasted in stimulus packages that created zero jobs

High unemployment rates

Anemic growth rates

Skyrocketing national debt

Soaring gas prices

Soaring food prices

Now, name some things that Sarah Palin has done to them to cause them to 'universally dislike' her.

What has changed since November? She did pretty well with the Tea Party picks and would have done better if not for the Country Club throwing rocks under our Candidates.

Look for her to sweep the South, the west except Cal and Wa, she could easily get MN, WI, PA and possibly MI with an energy policy. It could very well get bigger if NJ and MA get in play which they may from lack of Dem enthusiasm.

Face it, Bobo doesn’t even have Carter’s record to run on.

God Bless Our Troops

Reporters who have been following the bus tour have been given little guidance by Palin's team, and they have accused Palin of being coy with the press....

Mostly, not be a mushy middle ground type.

I have some guidance for the press. Take a long walk on a short pier.

I imagine Sarah and Todd have given them plenty of ‘guidance’, they just have not yet achieved sufficient flexibility to consummate the act ;)

I think the Palins are too polite to do that but I would be glad to describe the procedure to them. LOL

I see no indication that they’ll vote for a conservative like Palin, especially given that they voted for Barack Hussein Obama a mere 2.5 years ago.

Look a little closer at what has happened in a "mere" two and 1/2 years:

1.  Obama has increased the national debt over 3 Trillion dollars

2.  Obama and his buddies in Congress forced a multi-trillion dollar health care monstosity down our throats, against the will of a significant majority of the people

3.  The "vote for the historical moment of electing our first Black President" lemming mentality has lost its lustre

4.  The 2010 midterms were historic in and of themselves and showed a clear repudiation of Obama's policies

5.  The unemployment rate has increased over 50% from when he was elected in '08, and shows no signs that it will go down in the forseeable future

6.  The price of gasoline has almost doubled under his "watch"

7.  Obama has recently comitted several foreign affairs blunders (throwing Israel under the bus, supporting the uprisings/instability in the Middle East, etc)

8.  Obama has put tens of thousands of oil rig workers (and affiliated businesses) out of work with his handling of the BP oil spill, moratoriam on drilling, etc.

I could list a number of other things that have turned off both the right and the left, but the point is that there are likely a LOT of people who voted for Obama in 2008 who are "in play" in 2012.

A Sarah Palin candidacy could surprise a lot of people.  Sure, it could be that a Palin ticket might not win, but I wouldn't bet against it (I learned my lesson when I believed the "conventinal wisdom" when Reagan ran in 1979).

“why exactly wouldn’t the female independents vote for Palin?”

Because women in general see government as a sugar daddy, especially those whose children’s fathers aren’t providing support. Women in general FEEL instead of THINK. If they have a choice between a half-black, Muslim, dismal failure, Socialist promising them lots of stuff, or a conservative touting personal responsibility, it isn’t hard to figure out who they’ll choose.

I plan to vote for Palin, and maybe even as a write-in if she isn’t the candidate. I PRAY she’ll be our next president. We do have to find a way for women voters to make thoughtful decisions instead of resorting to a type of prostitution. I’m confident Sarah and her advisors will come up with a way for everyone to see the truth. It’s hard to remember that God is in control, but He truly is.

You don't think the majority have buyer's regret with the media driving that election? I'm still floored that only seven years after 9/11 - Americans would vote for a man named Barack Hussein Obama and knew nothing about him other than his color. What makes people so damn dumb? If they were families members, I'd disown them for life.

Yes, I am basically saying that America is doomed

' I say we have one last shot. SARAH is our ONLY answer - she will shake things up and flip this country over to it's rightful owners 'We the People" - and the boys club and power hungry mongers know it - that's why they (rino's and candidates) kept quiet hoping the media will take her down. It will not be business as usual. Drill baby drill - I'm sure will be a top priority. She has a servant's heart - to serve Americans and bring back the pride of being the greatest nation in the world. She bows to no one. Will we have the opportunity to vote for a known fighter against this commie administration who spits on our Constitution? I sure hope so. And I hope we have fighters out there who ignore the propaganda that will be thrown about - and keep pressing forward with our eyes on the goal and not the media.

"I see no indication that they’ll vote for a conservative like Palin, especially given that they voted for Barack Hussein Obama a mere 2.5 years ago."

Here's the deal. The large group of voters in the middle that decide presidential elections don't have a politics. The economy determines their vote. If the economy is good, they'll let the incumbent stay. If it's bad, out he goes. It doesn't matter who run against him. That is how Obama won in '08. The economy was in the tank and McCain was Bush 2. Obama was the outsider. To quote someone who won twice, "It's the economy, stupid." It always is.

Sarah will run a great campaign. I can hardly wait. Whether she can win depends on the state of the economy in November 2012.

“Palin would beat Obama like Reagan beat Carter.”

Maybe.

First, let me say that if you put a ballot with Sarah Palin’s name on it in front of me, I know what I’m going to do. And if you guess that it’s the same thing YOU will do, you’re guessin’ right.

Having said that, I’ll say this:

When Mrs. Palin gets the nomination (notice that I said “when” and NOT “if”), we will see an election that produces results congruent with one of two previous elections:
1980, or...
1964.

Of course, you have the prescience to have made that connection also (for 1980).

But do you recall what happened in 1964?

Just wonderin’....

I don’t agree but I understand the sentiment. Let’s just ensure if she is nominated that any inaction on your part does not help fulfill that prophesy.
