That is, unfortunately, very true and would in all probability be a disaster. Romney as President would be worse than a second term for Obama because - given his obstinate, egoistic refusal to disavow Romneycare based on its failures - the democrats would immediately latch onto his election as "proof" that the "consensus" of the whole country really, really does want Obamacare, and Romney would almost certainly go along with them (or, which amounts to the same thing, be powerless to prevent the democrats from using him to that end).

Then tell Perry to drop out so that the only real Christian in the bunch can get elected.
