On Greta last nite it looked like she had cut her hair.
If you are going to run you don't want long flowing locks streaming behind you for anyone to grab.
So she is definitely running!

Hey,MY tea leaves are just as good as anyone elses and I sure as heck don't know what I'M talking about on whether Sweet Sarah will run or not.
If she does, great—if she don't—my middle-age prostate will still make me hafta pee in the dead of nite;)

Tim Crawford’s email states:

Dear SarahPAC Supporter,

During these tough economic times, struggling families and individuals across America need leadership and solutions. In his address to Congress last week, our President offered only recycled proposals that have been proven to fail.

Increasing spending and expanding government control over the lives of hardworking Americans is not the solution to our broken economy. Mortgaging the future of our children and grandchildren will not ensure a better situation today, but it will ensure greater burdens in the future.

With the Presidential election right around the corner, Governor Palin has to make the important decision of whether or not to run for office. You’ve supported SarahPAC’s past efforts to defeat Obama liberals across the country, and I’m asking for your help again.

Let’s show Governor Palin that she has our support as she faces this crucial decision!

America is facing a tough road back to prosperity, but we can get there with commonsense conservative leadership from Governor Palin and the support of the Tea Party Revolution she led during the 2010 mid-term elections.

Our President has failed to take the initiative required to ease the economic difficulties facing our nation, and we need real change.

Will you support Governor Palin with a generous donation to SarahPAC today?

Thank you for your continuing support of Governor Palin and SarahPAC. You can also help her by sharing our message with your friends and family on Facebook and Twitter!

Sincerely,

Tim Crawford

Then former Gov. Ronald Reagan waited until November 13, 1979 to enter the 1980 election race. Please explain that to us.

Good fix. I admit I worded it with a little caution.

A presidential candidate can’t visit a foreign country? Better tell that to Barack Obama.

Still waiting for you or one of the other likeminded freepers to explain how EVACTLY Palin is teasing when she is nowhere the end of her self-stated timeframe for announcing.

Perhaps you’d like to take a crack at explaining your..er...’logic’. You keep saying it but never PROVING the impossible. Funny that.

You’re welcome.
And notice, the letter says nothing about being a kingmaker, etc. It talks about making a decision to “run for office.”

What is she going to address that hasn’t been broached already? Obamacare has been discussed, spending has been discussed, taxes have been discussed, foreign policy has been discussed; energy has been discussed; immigration has been discussed; jobs have been discussed, the Fed has been discussed, education has been discussed, etc.

Granted, the “debate” format doesn’t allow for much depth on these things, but they all have been addressed. So far, the life issue and sodomite marriage haven’t been asked about, but those who ask questions at the debates will get to them. In any event, how is Palin going to have answers that are materially different from those that have been given?

Perhaps she will have a better way of communicating on the issues, but I can’t think of any new issues that she will put on the table. Moreover, I don’t think her solutions will be all that much different.

If she does have a better way of communicating the conservative message, that would be a major advantage for her and for the movement.

Speaking for myself, I call it a tease because I don't believe she has any real intention of running for President this cycle. Oh, she's keeping her options open so she can technically say she is undecided, but there is zero evidence she is laying the ground work for a campaign (and no, Facebook posts don't count). Palin is "teasing" the non decision out for attention and media coverage. And judging by her horrendous negatives and polls showing a complete lack of enthusiasm for her as Presidential candidate from even most conservatives and Tea Party voters, her hit and run appearances to gobble up media attention at events where the focus is supposed to be on real, actual candidates simply isn't wearing well.

You’re right: The news cycle is 24/7 now on many channels, along with the blogsphere, the nutroots and much more. Why give those people more time to attack you?

I am sure they can and I think she will go as a candidate which will increase her cred.

OK that’s a start, but she has not yet gotten to the end of her own deadline to announce whether or not she will run.

If the Yankees say they will announce on October 1st (for example) do they have until Oct. 1 to announce or can that be called teasing? No one would say it was even if Thurmon Munson rose from the grave to do an interview about it.

So why is a tease when Palin does the same exact thing?

Wearing well with who? The media and some Freepers? So? The general public could care less and won’t until about 1 week before the election.

If Palin gets in - then chances increase that the nomination is Romney’s. Palin eats into Perry the most.

This is not 1979!!

Exactly right. It is 2011 and unlike Reagan in 1979, Palin can reach millions of people instantly with a single Facebook post or YouTube video. If I remember correctly, Reagan put out a "video" of his announcement but was at the mercy of the major networks to put it on the air. Palin can bypass the mainstream media completely to get out her message and through a website, can raise millions of dollars virtually overnight.

Suggestion for Palin, setup an option on her website to allow monthly donations by credit card. That way, regular people can donate for example, $25 a month to her campaign.

That capability is available and has been in use on https://www.sarahpacdonate.com/mb_eb_091311

This PAC can be used to pay salaries and some expenses prior to a Presidential PAC being set up. I can also be used for the One Nation Tour, other candidates that are good for our cause, etc.
People do need to know that PAC money CAN in a roundabout way be used for a presidential campaign to advance a particular candidate. Bachmann and Romney and Ron Paul and even Stephen Colbert all have SuperPACs that they are using. It’s just a way around campaign finance reform. SarahPAC can run ads slamming the other candidates. The only thing SarahPAC can’t say...is it supports Sarah Palin. But it can slam her competition all it wants to. And so can the Bachmann SuperPAC and the Romney, etc.
