The Tea Party is only half of the Republican party and a third of the country (at most). If you let the polls dictate a winner, than we will end up with four more years of Obama.
On the other hand, the media aren’t trying to elevate Romney and Perry as the front runners because they would lose to Obama ? The comparison with McCain isn’t even worth a response. Huntsman has absolutely nothing in common with McCain that are not hard core Republican positions.
