McCain Campaign Considered Not Letting Palin Be Sworn In if They Won (McCain stabs Palin)

In 2008, John McCain's campaign team discussed whether they should let Sarah Palin be sworn in as vice-president if they were to win the election, according to campaign staffer Nicolle Wallace. "There certainly were discussions -- not for long because of the arc the campaign took -- but certainly there were discussions about whether, if they were to win, it would be appropriate for her to be sworn in," Wallace tells Time's Claire Suddath. In her new novel, It's Classified, Wallace has a character -- a mentally ill female vice-president -- which she says is based on her experience working with Palin.

Believe me, I do consider the source to be a damn liar. I can’t stand Nicole Wallace, period. She does fit in with all the crazy McCains though and they could have thought they could just deny a duly elected candidate being sworn in.

Don’t worry, McCain. The way you stood there and grinned during the debates without defending yourself, you didn’t have a chance of winning.

The McCain people who know this is a lie should sue this lying scum for libel then. If they will tolerate this, then they are no better than she is.

Okay, aside from the fact that it’s tacky, ethically problematic and as a crass political matter really stupid to try to eject one of the candidates you won with...it may actually be legally impossible. I don’t detest anything and everything McCain (although I’ll smack him when I think he needs it), but as much as Wallace disdain Palin’s intelligence and stability, I think they’ve proved they’re pretty much too stupid to breed.

Is it really true that Wallace had a group orgy with most of obama’s campaign team? Wow!

This is pure BS. It’s all a smear by Nicole Wallace. She’s a POS.

Just the kind of person McCain would hire.

Considering the rat source for this article its veracity is very much in question. Having said that, this is a sad day after Sarah has withdrawn from the field, for this cycle. This country will be hard pressed find another leader of her caliber. Someone who embodies the American character in every particular the way she does. My fear is that by losing her we maybe letting the last vestiges of this great Nation slip away never to return.

Nicole Wallace = hateful, lying bitch!

Nicole Wallace = hateful, lying bitch!

She sure as hell is!

She never needs to be within smelling distance of another Republican Presidential campaign.

But they won't, of course.

I have a really bad feeling about where we’re headed, with Palin not in the race. Maybe Cain will step up to the plate and show the same kind of grit as Palin has shown in fighting corruption. Maybe she’ll be his VP, although what she said sounds like she wouldn’t really be up for that either.

I’m disappointed and scared.

Punk'd

Update: Wallace's colleague on the McCain campaign, Charlie Black, accuses her of just trying to sell her book with "bizarre" claims. He told Politico's Alexander Burns, "No such discussions ever happened and I have confirmed that with Sen. McCain ... In fact, Sen. McCain and most of his senior staff from the campaign admire Sarah Palin and appreciate her contribution to the ticket."

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE it if Palin did move to Arizona and challenged McCain for his seat. Karma, baby!

John McCain is a despicable gasbag with the mental capacity of a pumpkin. This dolt has done the US a great favor by running the worst presidential campaign against a an unqualified community organizer.

McCain has let the country see first hand what the left wing of the Democratic party has in store for this country and they are outraged. If the legacy candidate had defeated the affirmative action candidate we would be in store a more dire future, if that can be imagined.

Obama and Pelosi have caused a great deal of damage but they are on their way out and they will be erased for a generation or more.

Thank you John McCain you big jackass. Now please shut the hell up.
