I was one of Sarah's biggest fans. Going out of my way to vigorously defend her whenever she got mocked by those who get all their info from MSM soundbites. I am now, however, deeply disappointed in her. My common sense instincts tell me that deep down she knew long ago she was not running for president. My best guess is that she put off a conscious decision and announcing it because, seriously, what would've her books, speeches, etc. been worth if she announced her intentions previously? Right now I have very little interest in what she has to say, and I'm fairly certain cash registers would've said the same thing if she announced her decision awhile ago. I think she got a little comfortable with her new found fortune and lost the driving edge that I loved about her. She's fully entitled to take the path that she has taken. But I like this website because people aren't afraid to express their opinions. That's mine. Go Cain! All of Sarah's views but he gave up a comfortable life to get into the fight.

I too was a dedicated supporter, and share your deep disappointment with Gov. Palin. Perhaps you're right; it was that she got too comfortable. Whatever the cause, though, in a crucial hour for this country, she lacks the courage to stand and fight. So she decided to become a media type.

I’m with you. Part of me hopes that she did plan to run when she made that Candidate Palin “thank you, Iowa” video. With the mama grizzly brand theme at the end? If she knew she wasn’t running then, that would really hurt me. And if she decided not to run at the last minute, what scared her off? I thought of her as a true patriot like the founding fathers. They didn’t put family before country, and where would we be now if they had? We needed her and she chose her family, the same reason people retiring from public service always use. She had the same family in June as she did in September. Why string us along?
