Perry is MORON. Less articulate than Jorge Bush, more open border, and he can’t even sell the roll that he’s a conservative.

He’s a pathetic ‘actor’.......polling within the margin of error. You’d think people on FR would pull their heads out of their puckered sphincters and put a fork in this POS already.

It also depends on the area the poll was taken from. Iowa is tightly partisan and peer pressure drives outward opinion. Behind closed curtains though, the truth comes out.

[The Conservatives are so divided and have beaten, bloodied, bullied and broken each one of the Conservative candidates to the point that the only one who will be left standing will be the RINO, Mitt Romney. He will lose like McCain did, and we have no one to blame but ourselves]

I agree.

RE :"Gingrich, on the other hand, fell 12 points. "This is the fifth consecutive monthly poll with a new leader," Rasmussen says in an email. "It was Bachmann in August, then Perry, Cain, and Gingrich. Amidst all the volatility, Romney's numbers have held steady each month, and Ron Paul has been in double digits each month." Rasmussen warns that the race remains volatile, with only 40 percent of likely caucus-goers sure of how they will vote."

This fits the pattern. These poll results should be taken with a grain of salt.

“Uninformed.”

If you close your eyes and pretend Newt never (after 2007) supported Amnesty, Global Warming, Cap-and-Trade, Individual mandate, Ethanol subsidies etc, then your insight is correct.

The rest of us, who live in a real world, these things did happen.

Facts are facts. Nobody forced Newt to join Nancy in that Global Warming scam ad. Nobody forced Newt to push amnesty for “law-abiding citizens”. It was his judgement call.

“It’s Romney, Romney, Romney! Attack anybody else. And once Romney is safely nominated, attack, attack, attack Romney.”

Yep. And that includes some “major players” who happen to be on OUR side (or, at least, pretend they are).

Is this ALL a fix, so the annointed one will win a 2nd term? Are the American sheeple really THAT controlled by the Marxist media? How horribly sad it is, watching this all play out.

Gingrich had 33% support on Intrade before I went to bed last night.

He had 16% when I woke up this morning.

Yes, I know it’s not a poll.

In your quest to destroy Newt, you WILL get Romney.

And those of us who watched this display on this forum, will never forget that you played a part in helping Obama get reelected.

You simply cannot see the forest because the trees got in your way.

So you agree with the left that Scott Rasmussen rigs his polls?

I don’t close my eyes to anything - but I don’t come in and fire off one word little synopses of 35 year careers and act like I’ve made some kind of cogent analysis.

I am full well aware of Newt’s problems - some of which you listed - and have never denied them. You on the other hand act like some of the positive things he has done did not happen or are less important than a single public service announcemnt or a single line in a debate.

But go ahead and live in your drive by sound byte shallow uninformed reality. As for me, I’ll take the whole picture of a man (or woman) and be realisitc on a cost benefit analysis.

Perry and Bush are two different people completely.Perry is to the right of Bush politically and they are both articulate men. A helluva sight better than Obama corpsemen; that does not know how many states they’re are nor can he prove he was a professor, or release his college records,or explain why he is not really a good standing lawyer. But he plays professor/lawyer on TV FOR TERRORISTS.

So who is it you are pulling for?

[ Romney, up four points; Paul, up eight points; and Perry, up four points. Michele Bachmann climbed three points, as did Jon Huntsman, who has been to Iowa a grand total of one time in the campaign.

Gingrich, on the other hand, fell 12 points. ]

EVERYBODY gained points but Gingrich though. That indicates a momentum shift from Gingrich if the poll is accurate.

“When all of the people that are rallying behind Gingrich in desperation after Cain and Palin failed them come to they’re senses Perry will be back up in the polls.I fear if this does not happen we will be stuck with Romney/Obama.All because Palinista’s took they’re disappointment out on Perry and Bachmann.Newt will continue to do speeches, lobby and write books and be just fine.So will Palin.Palin would be a good VP or energy secretary.I would pay good money to wake up one morning and hear Palin on TV as energy sec saying she is opening all that Obama closed(Canada pipeline) drill here drill now!”

Well, as a “Palinista,” let me say that I was more than willing to give Perry and Bachmann an opportunity to win my support. Perry’s idiotic behavior in the debates – not having the wherewithal to recover after his brain freeze and going attack-dog on Romney for stupid things like a Mexican gardener turned me away from him. I don’t think he has either the brains or personality for the office and, frankly, he reminds me too much of G.W. Bush (which is not a good thing, because it’s HIS pathetic administration that gave us Barack Obama in the first place). Bachmann simply stares through the TV and comes off like a brunette Barbie doll who’s memorized a handful of lines - while playing every political card she thinks she can get away with (pandering for Cain’s people, for instance, in the last debate, and attacking whoever the front runner is just to get SOMEONE to notice she’s there).

It’s not Palin, or the media, or the opinion of my fellow FReepers who’ve turned me off those people... it’s THOSE PEOPLE.

And, sadly, the rest of our field of candidates is not much better.

That is so sad. Because I view the ones that threw Perry and Bachmann overboard because Palin and Cain disappointed them;(and then Newt is suddenly a NON RINO? GO FIGURE?)as playing a part in electing Obama/Romney.

So the axelrod people won as we are all confused and divided and blaming the other for what they caused.

No one wins in the end but Obama with this scenerio.

In the end (even with Paul and Trump threatening)I hope to God; Perry and a good strong VP take Obama to the cleaners on election day as Newt can’t.Who else do we have?
