I wihshed, Michele would be the fronrunner!

Amen to that. She has beliefs most similar to my own morals.

I forgot to check last week, what was Newt’s big announcement that he made in Atlanta?

he has some nagging issues I haven't heard addressed,

Have no fear, they'll be addressed endlessly in the media if he's nominated.

Ditto your responses. My current list in order of which nominees are available by the time Ohio votes are:

Bachmann
Perry
Newt
Santorum
Romney

Would also be interested in seeing what others thought about the governing experience of Perry coupled with Bachmann’s tenacity in a Perry-Bachmann ticket, but I’m not sure how the two would get over the Gardasil attacks in one of the first debates.

I'll wait and see who the VP choice is. Just look at McCain on 2008. We disliked him as much or even more than we dislike Romney today. Yet one brilliant VP pick (Palin) and you could not contain the excitement here on FR. It even had many of us McCain bashers reach for our check books to send the McCain campaign a little something, or ask how we might volunteer. It was one of the smartest picks of a VP in presidential history.

but I am focused on all the other races...we the people need to take back congress and put real representatives back in there...

This is my current focus as well. Would be a good move for this site to get up and running on laying out the Congressional maps and how best to lend our support to those who WRITE and REFORM the laws.

Why is Romney, who is clearly and emphatically is against everything FR clearly says it stands for, even on the list? Seriously, anyone who frequents FR and has therefore seen all the information posted here about Snitt definitely values something else far more than they value the Constitution and even the right to life. Snitt father of RomneyCare which was the prototype for Obamacare, anyone who would vote for the father of Romney care doesn't care about this country. Continuing to pump and babble about a carbon copy of Barry Soetoro is absurd and that's all Snitt is, a carbon copy of what we are trying to get rid of.

Since the democrat fascists lynched Cain the way they've always lynched runaway slaves who flee democrat plantations, I have to go with Newt. Even if Cain had stayed in the running, I would have liked to have seen him pick Newt as VP, so it could be worse.

They all are Republicans. There are no conservatives or Constitutionalists.

That's why I asked if there were any republicans, rather than asking if there were any Republicans.

I will vote for which ever one gets the nomination, I hate the all or nothing mentality of some here. if they don’t get exactly what they want they will sit it out, that is the exact reason the country is where it is today because the left never says all or nothing they take every inch they can every time they can and over the last 40 50 years we have been creeping and creeping towards where we are today, I will vote for any one of them because we cannot take another four years of obama period

“but I am focused on all the other races...we the people need to take back congress and put real representatives back in there..”

Agree AA. We may not have much influence over who gets chosen anyway, depending on where we live and how many electoral votes our state has.

Our attention should be on Congressional races, Governorships and if we are going to worry about another Bam election, let’s be seriously concerned about potential appointments to the Supremes if any judges retire. Got Elena Kagen?

I think it was that Gov. Nathan Deal and 60 Georgia Republican elected officials officially endorsed him. But, he wasn’t in Atlanta for the announcement.
