It proves the lie to your assertion that Gingrich balanced the budget and decreased the debt.
The last time the National Debt decreased over the course of a fiscal year was 1957.
Bet you can’t prove me wrong.
Which means that if you post your specious assertion of “Gingrich cut the debt by $500 billion”, you’re a liar.
I don’t want to argue the point that badly. Perhaps you did just call one person a liar and if so, sorry. I thought I had seen it more. However, the argument that the “deficit never went down in any year,” an argument that you are not alone in making, does not mean that no reductions in the debt occured. I seem to remember some legislation making payments on the debt, even though thr overall debt may have had a net increase during that fiscal year.
Yep, that’s the one person I called a liar.
I stand by that assertion.
