Its funny. I don’t get the impression the writer has paid any attention at all to anything Palin has said. He’s just responding to dog whistles.

Her speech at CPAC was one of the best of the event, if not “the” best of the event.

She hasn’t taken made any real attacks on Mitt, which is more than you can say for the reverse case; Mitt’s minions (like this goober) are continually mocking her and slamming her without actually getting into what she actually says.

And while the writer worries that Mitt might actually adopt some of Palin’s policies, he doesn’t state which policies those might be... because Mitt is trying to convince us that he already is as conservative as Palin and the rest of us, all while his proxies trash Palin and anyone as conservative as she and we.

Obama has the gift of talking out of both sides of his mouth at the same time. Romney does it by pretending to be conservative while his proxies attack anyone who actually is.

This writer is filling a page with words. Little more than that. His agenda does not correlate with Palin or the TEA party. He doesn't understand, and/or doesn't care to. Useful idiot blogger with nothing to say.

There's a reason that the audience rose to it's feet repeatedly during Palin's CPAC speach... it's because she was saying what they were collectively thinking, what they needed to hear be said. Sarah speaks for me. Thank God for plain talking patriots who don't fear saying what must be said.

You won't hear fire and truth like that from the GOP establishment. I heard some fire from Jason Chafettz today. I can overlook his support of Romney because he's from Utah, but he focuses directly on the enemy, and speaks his mind. Our other TEA party patriot, Mike Lee speaks for me as well.

Rep. Jason Chaffetz said people often ask him how things are going in Washington, D.C.

His answer?

"It's a mess. It's an absolute disaster," he told the Utah Senate.

Chaffetz railed against the $16 trillion federal deficit, noting that at $1 million a day, it would take 3,000 years to reach a trillion. The federal government has added 145,000 employees since President Barack Obama took office and 450,000 federal workers earn more than $100,000 a year, he said.

"I could go on and on," he said. "Obviously, the federal government is not living within its means."

Obama on Monday released a $3.8 trillion budget outline for fiscal 2013, which he says will help cut $4 trillion from the deficit over the next decade.

Chaffetz told state legislators he had not yet seen the proposal, but Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, quickly condemned the plan as "irresponsible and shameful."

“It continues the policies that are making it harder for American families to get back on track. His proposal perpetuates Washington’s spending problem, deepens America’s debt, and calls for the largest tax hike in history," Lee said in a statement. "The president claims ‘savings’ by using well-known budgeting gimmicks and has again denied the American people an opportunity to honestly discuss American’s fiscal future.”

Rep. Rob Bishop, R-Utah, called the Obama spending plan misguided.

"I would love to know where the president thinks the money will come from to fund all that this bill would require now and well into the future," he said in a statement. "Even the astronomical and irresponsible $1.9 trillion in tax increases included in this budget isn’t enough to balance the books."

KSL-TV

The TEA party is alive and well, and we're going to clean house this fall. Clean senate, too. Perhaps even the white house. Failure is not an option.

As for Romney, anyone who promises to be everything to everybody will be of little use to anyone. There's no there there.

He's as much an empty suit as the current fool in the white house.
