Go ahead, love it. It shows a shortcoming in Newt: he doesn't understand reality. Here's the reality: the issues Newt wants to talk about are such old news that they are showing signs of mold. News editors aren't interested in what's important, they are interested in what will attract the reader's -- or watcher's -- attention long enough to bridge their eyeballs in the next ad.

Rush understands reality. In order to keep his audience with him, he has to go and play an unexpected card now and again. Limbaugh's job is "showman", and he's good at it.

So, Professor, it's time to look at your competition, and figure out how to use this inconvenient truth about "news" and "promotion".
