Obama: Romney is just “pretending” his health care plan was different than mine

“We designed a program that actually previously had support of Republicans, including the person who may end up being the Republican standard bearer and is now pretending like he came up with something different,” the president said.

The Massachusetts plan served as a model for the Affordable Care Act, signed two years ago Friday. Romney, the state’s former governor, has since said the legislation was the correct course for his state but not meant as a model for a national overhaul. But the plan has proved a focal point of criticism aimed at the GOP frontrunner.

In Thursday’s interview, Obama said Republican opposition to the plan, including the Supreme Court challenge, is politically motivated.

Romney makes a reasonable distinction between his program and Obamacare. The states are supposed to test new ideas in a federalist system. However, no conservative would come up with an oppressive, liberty squashing idea like Romneycare, federalism notwithstanding.

This isn't about what government program offers the best quality care or which one is most efficient. It's about freedom, and freedom means the ability to decide for yourself, to include decisions that don't comport with someone else’s concept of the best way to do something. Liberty isn't liberty if you don't have the right to make “bad” decisions for yourself.

I don’t necessarily like him but I’m done tearing him down. It’s counterproductive at this point. May the strongest candidate win.

If I were Obama, I wouldn’t say anything until the Fall. This would give opening for Romney to differentiate his to Obama’s, no matter how trivial the differences are. Obama may want Romney win, but he’s lending Romney a big weapon that can easily be directed at him later.

This says more about the kenyan’s disdain or ignorance ( or both) regarding federalism than it does about Romney.

I believe the quote is true , and already Obama has fired the killing shot at Romney.

Romney hasn’t a prayer against Obama. Romneycare is Obamacare and Romney will not get rod of it.

Romney makes a reasonable distinction between his program and Obamacare.

Yeah, a bullshit distinction without a difference. A government mandated health program is a government mandated health program.

The cancer of Obama”care” now extends to choosing a “Public health expert for the World Bank Presidency.”
_______

The major problem with THE NINE SUPREMES is that they are chosen for political reasons by the POTUS, and then they vote as an un-accountable democracy, for a Nation that is NOT a Democracy, but a REPUBLIC.

As a result, THE NINE SUPREMES commonly vote 5 to 4 on most issues. Constitutionality is seldom a consideration, and their up-coming ruling on Obama”care” will prove my point.

Now is the time to stand and deliver to address our grievances to the dictates of the Left.

Oppose the dictates of Dictator Baby-Doc Barack!

Our ONLY chance to ABOLISH Obama”care” rests with THE NINE SUPREMES, because Romney will be defeated by Obama.

IMHO, if Romney is anointed as the RNC Nominee, THE main issue in the National Election, Obama”care,” will be taken off the campaign table. Hence, Romney will not only lose, but suffer another crushing, and sadly typical, RINO defeat.

To those who want poster ideas, here are a few ideas for demonstration posters:

Obama”care” was robo-signed by Congress, and is therefore illegal.

Obama”care” was 2700 pages long, and is still being written, but not by Congress: witness the forced contraception coverage recently added by HHS Regulators.

Obama”care” has caused “The Catholic Spring.”

Obama”care” reduces competition, and therefore is illegal by the 1890 Sherman Anti-Trust Law.

Obama”care” is designed to be a US Federal Government monopoly, with no competition.

Obama”care” also is illegal according to the US Constitution, because it violates our freedom of choice.

Will THE NINE SUPREMES notice any of these three violations? I seriously doubt it.

Impeached Bill Clinton proved that the US President is above US Federal Law, so anything that the President wants he gets, regardless of the Federal Laws that he has violated.
