RNC chairman: If Obama wins, ‘we’re going to lose this country’
The Hill ^ | June 15, 2012 | Cameron Joseph

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus framed the presidential election as a moral "battle for the freedom in this country" in a fiery speech Friday to the Faith and Freedom Coalition.

Priebus, not known as a bomb-thrower, said the country is facing a stark choice in November between President Obama and Mitt Romney.

"It's time to end the Barack Obama presidency before this presidency ends our way of life," he said to loud cheers from the audience of religious right leaders and supporters.

"We have to win this election, or we're going to lose this country,” Priebus said. “Collectivism will replace individualism, government agencies will replace free enterprise and the dreams of Obama will replace the vision of our Founding Fathers."

The RNC chairman said Obama is not "your daddy's Democrat" like John F. Kennedy or Bill Clinton, and would "rather bow to foreign leaders than stand up for America's greatness."

He also compared the battle between Obama and Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney to the battle for freedom fought in World War II.

"We're in a battle for freedom in this country," he said, later ending his speech with an exhortation to beat Obama — or else.

"Elect Mitt Romney, fire Barack Obama and save America," he said.

“In modern usage, the term “dictator” is generally used to describe a leader who holds and/or abuses an extraordinary amount of personal power, especially the power to make laws without effective restraint by a legislative assembly. Dictatorships are often characterized by some of the following traits: suspension of elections and of civil liberties; proclamation of a state of emergency; rule by decree; repression of political opponents without abiding by rule of law procedures; these include single-party state, and cult of personality.”

"Ask somebody who Voted for Romney in the Primary. I don't know anyone who did, do you?"

Consider the folks in state and local governments and their dependents in services. Have fun. Enjoy the slide.

I suspect it will be even worse. Christianity will be suppressed. Islam will be elevated and failing to show sufficient enthusiasm for Dear Leader will lead to sanctions, denial of benefits and mandatory reeducation through thought crimes type legislation.

I knew what Obama’s Presidency would be before he was elected.

I am not surprised in the least.

What is surprising to me is the Cowardice of the House and the Senate. Not Democrats only mind you, but both parties.

Partisan politics is expected to a degree, but what kind of politics can we call it when these people who were elected to protect us from government and have the tools to do so in the Constitution, forget their oaths and stand by with their thumbs up their ass and allow one man to do so much damage to our country.

Is the Congress blind? Can they not see what is happening? Do they care?

You write your Representative and you get a form letter back saying how nice it is to hear from you and basically saying “We heard from you, now STF up and don’t bother hitting the reply button because we won’t accept the reply.”

Pretty neat trick there by the RNC. Use the language of conservatism but support a liberal candidate.

So we won’t lose the country if we elect a liberal like Romney? Promise?

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss....

Politicians don’t really want to fix anything.

Every issue fixed is an issue taken off the board as a campaign weapon.

My daily affirmations, under the heading “Politics”:

There is a built-in safeguard in the constitution. The Second Amendment. When a leader attempts to take guns, take your guns and chase out the dictator.
Addendum: No Taxation without Representation. Our government has made law without votes, without due-process. Stop paying taxes, and stand by your decision (I have).

I have accepted a few things in regards to our current leadership - They are “all” (Mostly) in the bag for the usurper. I believe in my heart that we have a Foothold situation, where the enemy has usurped power. The Constitution must be allowed to run it’s course, and a vote must take place after the first 4 year term of this current president. If that president wins, and I believe he will, It must be up to someone to start the process of ejection. Refer to affirmation 1.

Before we can get rid of these terrible, awful legislators, a few things must be dealt with. The LGBT crowd, Socialists / Communists, The Fed, Islam, and ALL outside influences (The U.N., for instance). There are others - a LOT others, but those can be dealt with after an election that weeds out insane people. Islam MUST be identified as an enemy of the state.

If Obama wins election, We are all pretty sure he will make the final gun-grab. That’s the line. It MUST be the line. After that line is successfully crossed, then there is no way for the people to stand up and fight. If Obama loses the election, the madness will continue until the problems are eradicated, and a new election is held that cleans out the government in it’s entirety. A process too painful to believe will happen.

In conclusion, we’re pretty boned either way. I -will- vote Republican in the next election. I -do- believe that Obama will “win”, as I have no confidence in the voting structure currently in play. I do -not- believe that we will make it to SCOTUS picks. I believe that an Obama re-election will lead to an uprisal the likes of which has never been recorded in history.

Finally, I KNOW that I am on the correct side of the argument.

One. The RNC does not have this country. The party has always been corrupt and I was the Republicans who worked to destroy small agriculture through legislative efforts favoring ADM and Monsanto.

Two. It ain’t over until after the coming war.

Transparency seems to be more transparent as we get closer to the election doesnt it? Most of us knew this before the 2008 election. Now we have allowed the feelgooders, the guilty, the hope and change crowd to cook our goose. Do we think we can rely on the GOP or are they to busy chasing thier tail with a new smoke scream everyweek thrown at them by the rats and thier leader. We need to put the GOP on the hot seat and force them to act. suggestions?

Since when is electing a RINO in America's best interest? We all sit here and bemoan the RINOS Snowe, Collins, Graham and many others, Specter before he got bounced...now we are being asked to vote for another RINO because he is the lesser of 2 evils. Well I have news for you EVIL is EVIL no matter how lesser of it, it is. A RINO is a demonRAT in a gop label.

And I am sick and tired of being forced to make that choice. Just as I am sick and tired of being ATTACKED because I dared to take a NO RINO stance. If you chose to vote for a RINO do it, don't attack me because I REFUSE to.

Personally I’m now firmly in the term limit camp. There’s no point in dragging their feet if they have no upcoming campaign.

I like the idea of limiting them to two consecutive term limits and then sitting at least 1 term out. I good congressman would have a chance to return but not allowed to become too comfortable.

Also, do away with the senior/freshman crap.

It has been going on for at least 2 decades, at 64 I’ve seen changes in the USA I do not like. Wrong has become right, and right has become wrong. We have allowed the slaughter of 54+ million Unborn. Allowed our gun rights to be taken from us, allowed illegal invaders access to all our social programs AHEAD of US CITIZENS. Why is an illegal invader entitled to any thing in the USA? DEPORT THEM. Tell them to go have a revolution in their own countries if it is that bad there.

We are constantly being told that voting for the lesser of 2 evils will prevent a downfall of the USA. BULL FEATHERS, it just slows it down. I am being attacked for my ANTI RINO stance. I DO NOT VOTE FOR RINOS, they are demonRATS in the gop label.

The Republic is yours to keep IF YOU can keep it, as Dr. Franklin said. Keep electing RINOS and you won’t keep it.

I would prefer Osama over Obama. At least Americans would know that he too is a terrorist Muslim scumbag.

That knowledge, without the will and grit to take necessary actions, would only allow us to drop into the pit with our eyes ope. In other words, it is useless knowledge.

“Collectivism will replace individualism, government agencies will replace free enterprise

We are already at this point. When half your income goes to give politicians a Platinum life style and retirement, and you are SLAVE to the government for 6 months of the year to provide that life style. TERM LIMITS! tie their pay raises to granny's and Ret. Military COLA RAISES. In fact the public should have to VOTE to give them a pay raise.

Misspelling is not mine.

Well then the GOPe shouldn’t have foisted a dem on us as our nominee. Yeah, I’ll probably vote for him, but enough conservatives won’t (rightfully so) that the election will remain in doubt until it is over.

And frankly, I’m not convinced romney will be any better than obama (lower cases intentional). I just know he can’t be worse.

You're perfectly correct ...

The GOP E-RINO Gay-Boy Yacht-Club Blue-Bloods ...

"force" the "Celestial God-Child from Planet Kolob" on us ...

while they secretly DESPISE and attempt to DESTROY Sarah Palin and Newt Gingrich ...

to give us "Myth" Romney ...

an absolutely despicable, slime-ball, lying SOB ...

If America is to be lost ... then I say it was "lost" in the smoke-filled rooms at the natinal and local chapters of the Homosexual GOP Glee-Club offices ...

2ndDivisionVet ... this reply was "not" aimed at you ...

I’ll vote for Romney just as I voted holding my nose for McCain. The reason; Obama hates this country and is out to completely destroy it. The RINOs are not, not as completely as the Marxist in office.

Simple as that. I see it as my only choice because by now we should have all been up in arms and in DC but we aren’t, so our choice then is Romney or Obama.

I can wish all I want that Palin was running, or DeMint but they aren’t.

‘Voting my conscience’ won’t do a damn thing for my country right now.
